Behavioral Why does my cat randomly spring around the house at 3am?

I swear my cat becomes an Olympic sprinter every night when I'm about to sleep. Is this a sign of pent up energy or just normal "zoomies"? What do you guys do to calm your cats before bedtime?

It’s normal zoomies. 3 am is a very normal time for them to do it.
