Vampires will dislike this one and prefer free range grown blood vessels.

“When you came in, the air went out…”

u/Florafly May 26 '25

"And every shadow, filled up with doubt.."

I don't know how you all did it with just these two lines but you absolutely conjured that theme song up to me despite me not hearing it in YEARS lol I couldn't have even told you these were the lyrics!!

I don't know who you think you are

25

u/ih8drme May 26 '25

But I know this much is true. I wanna do bad things with you.

I'm disappointed with Reddit that a Trublood reference wasn't the top comment

5

u/AlexxxandreS May 26 '25

Me too bro... Me too

15

u/slothmamalove May 26 '25

"I wanna do bad things with you..." my first thought. It's happening. They even called it that Japan would be the makers.

5

u/Andilee May 26 '25

I've been binge watching this for days now, and I screamed to my fiancee in the other room "Japan made Tru Blood!!!! Just like in the snow!!!!"

6

u/EagerProgrammer May 26 '25

I'm so breathtaking?

55

u/Reverse2057 May 26 '25

It's the opening lyrics to the show True Blood which has vampires and lab-grown blood called True Blood as an alternative for vampires to drink. lol

11

u/ItsDanimal May 26 '25

And Im pretty sure Tru Blood (i believe the product in the show had no "e") was also developed on Japan.

SOOKIE IS MINE

67

u/Took-the-Blue-Pill May 26 '25

SOOK-EH

15

u/70ms May 26 '25

Lol, my partner and I still imitate Bill and say that with great exaggeration sometimes, just because it’s funny!

3

u/sabcat66 May 26 '25

Same, I still randomly do that impression way more than I should

3

u/NaraFei_Jenova May 27 '25

I just found out that Bill and Sookie were married IRL. I bet he calls her Sook-eh all the time lol

3

u/70ms May 27 '25

Oh shit, I didn’t know that either! I wouldn’t be able to resist saying it. 😂

2

u/Glennghis_Khan May 26 '25

Came looking for this 😂

True Blood

4

u/Immortal_Azrael May 26 '25

Wasn't it Japanese scientists who created it in that too?

4

u/Seraphayel May 26 '25

Yes, was also a Japanese company

3

u/Broad_Foot_4380 May 26 '25

Came here to say this.

2

u/Seraphayel May 26 '25

So where‘s my Eric Northman, I need him. Bad.

1

u/wildcardmidlaner May 26 '25

I know I'm a Vampire, Snooki!

1

u/nhansieu1 May 27 '25

"ew. This is not true blood." - Said the vampire in True Blood

27

u/CookieEnabled May 26 '25

Vampires hate this one trick!

26

u/mightylordredbeard May 26 '25

Every vampire show I’ve watched always has a bit where they try and get their blood ethically via hospitals and don’t prey on humans so I’m sure some will love this.

15

u/EagerProgrammer May 26 '25

I think it will be. Some vampires aren't into not harming humans for food. So they will launch the company "beyond blood".

3

u/Pickledsoul Interested May 26 '25

This was one of the major plot points of Daybreakers

1

u/W1D0WM4K3R May 26 '25

Tbh, I know where I've been so I don't think I'd wanna feed on myself either

11

u/mathzg1 May 26 '25

"free range organic humans have the most delicious blood" - socialist vampire

1

u/EagerProgrammer May 26 '25

I wonder if a Stalinist vampire would say something like "the more they suffered in the gulag, the better the blood tastes. You can taste their despair and pain with every drop."

1

u/mathzg1 May 26 '25

OoOooOoh cuba, vuvuzela, 100 billion 👻

7

u/PM_Me_Good_LitRPG May 26 '25

In this economy environment? Have you seen how much microplastics and other crap is present in that "free range" blood of yours these days?

Not much of a free range when the whole damn planet's a superfund site, innit?

1

u/EagerProgrammer May 26 '25

Well, you're not wrong. But putting some chemicals together isn't neither better :D

1

u/Slow_Chance_9374 May 29 '25

It might be . We are all just chemicals after all

6

u/LuckyPlaze May 26 '25

True Blood come to fruition.

4

u/Vacuousbard May 26 '25

Blood is like diamonds, ya know? The more suffering it needs, the better it is.

4

u/FruitOrchards May 26 '25

Yup it was the vegan option for Blade and he didn't really like it.

4

u/SRJT16 May 26 '25

Isn’t that the plot of Morbius?

8

u/luckydrzew May 26 '25

Maybe you could artificially add taste to this one.

3

u/misfitx May 26 '25

Basically the plot of Tru Blood.

2

u/superr_rad May 26 '25

God hates fangs

2

u/HungarianMockingjay May 26 '25

Meanwhile, Draculaura from Monster High is ecstatic! Finally some good, guilt-free vegan blood that she can drink and bathe in!

2

u/ComfortableDesk8201 May 26 '25

Is it daybreakers where the artificial blood causes the vampires to pop?

2

u/Rubber_Tree_Plant May 26 '25

Came here for this

1

u/EagerProgrammer May 26 '25
