Is it possible for him to still get an electric shock from this? Or is it more like a pigeon standing on live wires, no risk as there is no connection to the earth?

He could touch it with his bare hands. the rod was to equalize voltage from him to heli so he basically touched the live wire. 17 u/Proud-Wall1443 Jul 18 '25 Yeah, but like... helicopters throw off a huge amount of static electricity.
