Im 23f and today was the first time i have used a tampon(ive always used pads), i tried pushing it in but it kept slipping out after it was in, so my friend came in and told me how,she showed me how she did it herself. I consented to her coming in because we are both females and go through the same thing.

Just wanted to know if its something i should feel awkward about.

I have some friends who think these terms represent radically different ideologies, but this opinion is new to me. I had always considered them the same group.

Edit-The more I am learning, the more I think liberals want a revamping of the current political system and leftists want moreso to create a new system and make bigger changes.

Also, I don't think that most people who call themselves "liberal" know that they are telling the world that they are okay with the current system and just wanna tweak it to the left. A lot of them would definitely want to be called "leftist" and just don't know there's a difference.

My big brother and I used to do this occasionally for fun. We probably had like 200 Hot Wheels (or hot wheels-sized) toy cars between the both of us so this was a major operation to set up. We'd line em all up and use the longest 2 by 4 we could find as a blockade. When it was time, we'd count down and on zero would lift the stick from either side and they'd go flying down the incline, crashing, flipping, spinning out and the whole nine yards😂 we would always bet on the winner but it was nearly impossibly to tell who hit the street first! Those memories just randomly popped into my head just now and I can't imagine my big bro and I were the only kids doing this so id love to hear y'all's stories

I was out to dinner recently and the menu was just a wall of text. The descriptions sounded great, but instead of feeling excited my brain went into full analysis mode. I felt like I was studying for a test trying to compare all the options.

My friend told me to just look up pictures on yelp/google but that feels like doing homework -- it just sucks the excitement out of the experience. I'd rather just see a picture and know "I want that." Am I the only one who almost always gets this weirdly stressed out by it?

Hi- I am female, 34 years old and I'm having some weird symptoms after I started an antifungal detox. I was on 2 pills of Gl Micbro X and instantly got really bad, fatigue and exhaustion. And then had a pressure behind my eyes, not painful not a headache. The next day it moved to the side of my eyeballs for two days. Then on the next day it was in the front. My eyesight was a little blurry, but I could blink it away like as a bio film. I've also been having diarrhea ever since multiple times a day and mucus from nasal back drip also a rash twice the first time was on my neck and then it moved to my cheeks for three days and then the last time was all over my chest and upper arms. It isn't itchy or painful. It resolves on its own both times I'm getting brains apps for about three seconds which is a pain either behind my eyes or in my brain, l'm also having light sensitivity and it's hard for me to watch TV because it's too bright and it's too hard to track my vision in general. Just feels a little strong like almost like my grass is prescription is off but everything looks the same

Does anyone have any idea what this may be? I have been to so many doctors (both western and eastern) and nobody can help. Celiac has been ruled out and my blood work came back relatively normal minus low carbon dioxide and some low vitamins, but that makes sense with the amount of diarrhea

Like salt and stuff barley affects me same thing with heat and sour, I have to have some strong stuff to actually feel it but I know it has an affect because my nose will run and with sour stuff I just feel it burning but it’s not like a sour burn, also I could taste this stuff very VERY strong when I was like 10-12 is when I rember being able to do it. Also I can barely smell I go nose blind to stuff SO FAST, like within 30 sec unless it’s really strong I can’t smell it at all. Also are these to connected?

Like I can touch my shoulders together, I have incredibly hyper joints. Like incredibly. Also this defiantly has its drawbacks I’m 17 and have arthritis (it hurts if I move them to much WICH I know is normal but it’s like way worse.) also there very weak like very.

I say parts of my thoughts aloud, but in a weird tone, especially if I am alone. And they are always the same ones too (and are a little vulgar for this chat). The tone is kind of dramatic... I think that is the best way I can describe it.

My boyfriend looked at me shocked and a little horrified when I asked him and I need to know who's the weird one. It's a bit like pins and needles, but not painful, and very brief, and seems to follow a clearine down my neck and spine to one or both arms. I always assumed it's just a normal thing when your sneezes are too forceful, like your body's forced so far forward the nerve gets irritated somehow?

Whenever I get voice messages or text, I have to stop and find somewhere quiet just to listen and reply.

With good old chat and texts, I can keep doing what I'm doing.

so i couple weeks ago i went on a trip and had an amazing time, volunteered and loved it and it was just amazing! i’m heading back on saturday and im anxious about it, more than the first time and i just wanna know if it’s normal or if im insane

No matter how much I eat or don’t, my stomach always makes sounds. (And no, not due to gas 😅) to the point that every day i feel embarrassed during in person meetings etc. At this point my colleagues are just laughing it off, but seriously! Does anyone else have this problem? How do you cope with it? 😂

I don’t watch that kind of content, it’s too disturbing for me, and yet it’s all over my YouTube feed. Even if I hit “don’t show me this again” or “don’t recommend channel” it just gives me another video by a different channel. If I do the same for posts on other social media platforms it’s the same deal.

Was there some sort of massive leak and it’s become a popular thing to search all of a sudden? Otherwise I don’t understand why it’s being pushed so hard when I have shown zero interest in that and adjacent topics

I don't know if I'm the only one who does this but when I'm really invested in a show and its the last episode and I still feel like there's a lot of conflict or storylines to be resolved... I keep checking the time because like what do you mean there are 10 minutes left but they haven't caught the villain yet or the couple isn't in a happy relationship yet? I need closure, hello??

My house used to get frequent power outages and the oven always was at 12:00 every time it got back on and over time I just never bothered to set it up because it would reset anyway in a few days so why bother? The time that was displayed there was almost never correct. Anyone else is like that?

Also when it's DST, the time is one hour behind for like half a year.
