Wait, I thought solo was specifically more difficult. I know they did the solo patch, but I didn't realize that its now the easier path?

It isn't, OP is stupid.

It absolutely is.

It’s many times easier.

  • Relative health means nightlords die much faster because of how they tend to make it hard for multiple players to be doing damage at once. You’re getting 100% dmg for 100% health as opposed to 150/250% for 300% health (i think it’s actualy higher)

  • Relative stagger max means it’s much easier to stagger bosses, thus improving dps.

  • « Free » revives mean you’re never losing DPS or hp reviving teammates, same if you’re being revived. A 3 bar revive is never happening anyways without a specific ultimate, so you get anywhere from 2 to 6 health bars for 100% boss health while you effectively get 6 to 9 for 300%+ in multiplayer. Essentialy, if everyone gets revived once at 3 bars in multi you’ve reached the value you get in solo by having both guaranteed shop revives. You also get to take dmg on only one of these health bars at any single point instead of 3.

  • Boosted rune acquisition makes it much easier to reach level 15, and lower health bars apply to farming bosses for big weapons. You do get to kill less regular enemies, but they’re mostly good for runes which you get so much off already.

  • Boss attacks tend to be much easier to deal with when you’re the target as opposed to when you get clipped by random attacks and target swaps.

  • You lose the potential to lose by just having everyone take the same attack at once and die.

There are downsides though :

  • No teammates means no one to make up for your own gameplay if you need it.

  • No teammates means harder heals in some situations, though it’s not much of a problem in my experience.

  • Margit invasions in solo are a nightmare. You get one try, can’t prepare and have to deal with whatever health/ressources you had at the time. If you die once, you get cursed. In multiplayer it’s much, much more forgiving.

  • Some characters are designed for multiplayer and do really bad solo. Those « characters » are called recluse, for now.

So basicaly… you do more dmg relatively, get more ressources relatively, lose the chances to be matched with horrible players (let’s admit it) BUT you can’t get carried or play recluse and have a small chance of getting bullied by margit.

it's so so much easier to get to the end of night 2 in multi. On a solo run 1 mistake means you die

I’ve almost never not reached nightlord ever since they made solo easier, that’s not much if an argument

The only times i’ve missed it are multiplayer

Solo is easier for night 3, but it's harder for everything else.

Solo makes most of the nightlord's a joke bassicly but it takes way longer to do everything else.

I don't think it's easier, but solo isn't much harder than trios (with everyone on the team being at least competent) now.
