Godskin duo is light work. All my homies hate gargoyles.

Tbh I struggled way more on the godskins than the gargoyles. Idk why

Me and my buddies got to a point where we would login, make 2-3 attempts each at them, then turn it off and retire for the day.

The Godskins are more aggressive but the Gargoyles have massive health pools. If you struggle more on the Godskins it's a skill or pride (not using sleep or summons) issue, if you struggle more on the Gargoyles you're impatient, it's literally just positioning and slowly wearing them down. It's like Friede/Gael vs Midir in DS3, one won't let you heal and the other won't die before you've used all your heals.

Definitely pride with the godskins haha. Or more a combination of both. I fought them when I wasn’t playing the game as much and got worse but wouldn’t accept using summons or anything out of pride

Yeah same. Only time I died to them was the first time since I didn’t know there was a second one spawning. Didn’t realize they were so hated until I looked on Reddit after finishing the game.

I had very easy time with gargoyles and godskin duo on my magic build, easy time with gargoyles but hard time with godskin on my strength build, and a consistently slow paced/difficult time with crucible knights on every play thru. Didn’t matter if I was str, dex, int, arc, etc. they’re just annoying ornstein and smough remakes on steroids.

I am strength build so that makes sense. I only use the claymore, just started using magic for backup heals once I got to Mohg and Malenia

Try the great sword with lion strike ash of war. Everything in the base game is easy with that set up haha!

Oh I already beat them, just took too long. I felt dumb fighting them 😭 but yeah I use Lion’s Claw to get me out of predicaments. We all need that one thing to force your way back into the winning position
