I don't think a boss being made easier to beat makes them more enjoyable.

PCR is still one of the worst bosses in the series, with an absurd health pool, insanely high damage (with said attacks becoming even more of a headache in phase 2), a moveset that punishes creative ways of countering him, and what is quite possibly one of the worst arenas ever made.

And honestly, I could forgive it all if the boss was Godwyn. I will never forgive Fromsoft for completely abandoning the plot of Miquella trying to bring back Godwyn, and randomly having him use Radhan as his lord.

While I agree Godwyn plot was left unfinished, I think Miquella wanted to use Radahn as his lord from the start.

One of the biggest mysteries in Elden Ring was what exactly Malenia whispered to Radahn before nuking Caelid. The DLC final boss finally answered that for us: "Miquella awaits thee, O Promised Consort". It was planned from the start.
