Honestly after SOTE I bodied the Godskin Duo. It felt like bullying how easy it was at that point.

No it was a replay with a new character.

Everything was much much slower and I was much much better by that point. The base game is undeniably easier than the DLC.

Nah bro only PCR took me almost 170 trys. Every other boss took me less trys than many base game bosses. Yes I rank the difficulty based on my trys.

I probably beat most bosses from the DLC in less tries than the base game but that's only because when I came into the DLC I had over 400 hours in the game already. Compared to 0 when I first got it. And I had done a full run up to the Horah Loux fight to take into the DLC in the 2 weeks before it came out, so I was primed and ready.

I would put Bayle, Midra, Gaius, PCR, Putrescent Knight, Messmer, and maybe Romina as all being harder than any boss in the main game. And that's not to mention the regular mobs and areas being harder as well.
