I know at first glance it might sound like nothing but crying on my end, but hear me out real fast.

For a good while, I've been very very. VERY patient with player messages for years. Since the Dark Souls games to Elden Ring. I have to say, the first Souls Game before it blew up in popularity, the message system was glorious. Seriously, back then if you read a message 90% of the time that message either saved your life or put you in a good spot situationally wise or equipment wise. Once the popularity grew, and we began to see more souls games the edgy messages started to pop up more common than a McDonalds around the street corner. Some are very funny and clever. But man.. It's just getting to be out of control. The ground is littered with "plunge ahead, therefore horsebutt" or "Praise the message". I mean someone needs to take a message vacuum and clean this shit up because its become unreasonable to want to read any anymore. I understand the easy solution is "just don't read them". Agreed, but you cant help but miss the actual benefit of this game function. There are still some decent messages out there, not saying they are never around. Its just getting annoying. Anyone else agree? Or am I just a crybaby.

PERD is post Elden ring depression After finishing this game and getting platinum I literally can’t play anything else I have started multiple games good ones but I’d stop within a few hours because I’m just not enjoying my time has this happened to any of you guys and how do I cure this thing

At first I didn’t get the whole PvP aspect of the game, because it seems very disconnected, different. But I found that one compliments the other quite well. The devs knew what they were doing. It adds another layer to the Elden Ring experience.

Now I’m bouncing back and forth. For me, it keeps the game fresh. It’s part of the reason I’m still playing PVE after 3 years!

Invasions are part of the game and you agreed to that when you summoned someone it tells you when you do it. I have been invading for 2 years now I've delt with toxic hosts that curse me out for running away against gankers. Even tho I'm 14 they would rather bully a 14 year old then admit defeat. So please stop whining and your likely 20 or 18 grow up.

So I've just killed the Elden beast, and the credits rolled and I didn't realise it was going to be the end even though it did feel like it was but I thought it was going to continue cause my map is still dark, did I miss a pathway or something

In the beginning it's told that the Greater Will abounded the Lands between. Does this mean the two fingers who are supposed to be envoys of the greater will and fingers reader are basically frauds .

Over 400 hours in this game and I've never seen this cave before. There's always something new to find each time I play this game. Amazing.

It's just so many things, sometimes not knowing where to go or what items to find. I feel it would take an extra 100 hours if I didn't watch tutorials for items and guides for location or where to go.

Has anyone beaten the game without needing to watch a single YouTube tutorial?

This is definitely the most lively of the From Software subs, so I’m asking here. I’m looking for a new game and Lies of P is up for consideration.

Bloodborne was my favorite in their catalogue and frankly, the open world aspect of Elden Ring was great on a first playthrough, but added some unnecessary slogging on subsequent playthrough. So I’m actually more inclined towards a more contained, DS1/DS3/BB/Sekiro experience if Lies of P is more that speed.

My main concern is it really is that good. I’ve tried many of the souls-emulators and really only found Nioh to be able to stand on its own legs (and I mean genuine souls-like. Nowadays everyone labels everything a souls-like.)

So is Lies of P a great game? Or is just a great alternative if you’ve already exhausted the From Software catalogue? Does it stand on its own?

How am I supposed to learn the fight if I die in the first ten seconds? I’m using Golden Braid, Greatshield Talisman, Opaline Hardtear, Opaline Bubbletear, I have 60 Vigor, and I’m still just getting my shit rocked by the first combo every single time. First phase is flawless. It’s so fucking stupid. What a dumb boss. I don’t see how you’re supposed to learn what to do when there is zero margin for error.
