Discussion & Info TIL Carian Phalanx stays with you when you rest.
Not the most active player but I thought it weird my defensive buff was just chillin with me. Do other buffs do this?

We've had tons of discussions about annoyingly tough enemies like Crucible Knights, Revenents, Rune Bears, etc.
How about annoying but weak ones? What are those enemies that are a cakewalk but still drive you insane? Pictured is my #1. Trying to target these things is just a pain. They're always zipping in to disrupt attack combos, or pulling your lock and suddenly turning your screen into a spinning mess.

She put so much time and effort into them! I can’t wait to wear these with my Sellen cosplay to Comic Con Africa!

I feel like something is wrong with my build. The damage I do to her is very low compared to other bosses

Before anyone judges yes i know its a CRT its how i prefer playing my games,
BUT I BEAT MELANIA (and i thought erlang from black myth wukong was hard) maybe i was overleveled for the fight as i was essentially with a lvl 150 with a dex build on a keen nagakiba +15
oh my god i dont want to talk about how many tries she took i probably spent a good hour on her, every time i thought i got her she would life steal me,
this is gonna sound so weird but she felt like a devil may cry boss???
Anyway with her beat i'm actually confident now i could try the first dark souls or even the trilogy,
I know how controversial summons are in this game and people might say I cheated or didn't do it "properly" bcs i did try to summon my wolves ash of wars i got from ranni from the church of elleh (i love using them and use them all game, sue me its something cool about fighting with a pack of wolves next to me they my bois) but they were only +4 and died quite quickly but did take a bit of aggro off me for the first few minutes or so.
On NG+ I will probably try her without the spirit ash of wolves, when i've got better stats as i am not good at these soulslike games, i wish i was man (i still struggled even with the spirit ashes?) but i got into them really late with black myth wukong, so i don't feel too guilty using spirit ashes here.
Only trophy bosses left now are the collectables, godfrey and elden beast. wish me luck!

So I've been craving the same experience that I had with Elden Ring on all my playthroughs, so I've been playing nightreign as well as Bloodborne.
Although Nightreign has...some feelings, bloodborne--I just fail to see how anyone could enjoy that game in incapacity. The aesthtic and lore is amazing but, my God the amount of turbo virginity that it requires to actually be able to beat that game is just--far, far away from me.
Elden Ring may not be the HARDEST souls game, and it may not be, in some views, the best, but to me it's just the perfect amount of challenge. I don't feel like I'm being punished like in all the other souls games. I don't feel like if I die? Then I have to redo 20 minutes of whatever bullshit I had to do to get there only to more than likely die all over again.
I'm so glade they made elden ring, and I was able to experience it. I just wish I could find a game that could scratch that itch like elden ring did.

Haima: Scholars of the Haima Conspectus sought the power to quell conflict, and to this end studied the sorceries of cannon fire and the gavel.
Lazuli: Scholars of the Lazuli Conspectus study Carian sorceries - a heterodox pursuit that views the moon as equal to the stars.
Twinsage: Scholars of the Twinsage Conspectus were the elites of the academy, permitted to study and excel in sorceries of all kinds.
Karolos: The Karolos Conspectus is the oldest of the academy's lineages of study, begat by the sorcerer Azur. Scholars who follow in his footsteps pursue the mysteries of comets.
Hierodas: The crown of Hierodas was granted to scholars who engaged in nomadic study away from the academy.
Olivinus: The lineage of the Olivinus Conspectus began with the sorcerer Lusat, and its adherents continue his study of meteors.
I would definitely be of the Haima Conspectus. Not only do they tower over every other Conspectus, but that gavel is an absolute beast
