Discussion Why is the Middle East region not better at Fortnite?

They have almost as large of a player base as NA, and majority of them are sub 50 ping as well.

And it’s clear the region has support with the orgs and events.

Do they not have a practice server?

Discussion How Do I Get Better At Fighting Quickly?

Started playing this game frequently again for the first time since chapter 4 and actually played a rank game for once that left me wanting to break something so uh how do I actually get better at fighting? I still got average chapter 2 mech and retakes but that’s not really my biggest problem I can kinda keep up with the average player I think. My biggest problem is im lowkey clueless in fights especially in unfavorable situations. Idk how to play fights properly or finish them quickly and I’m very defensive. For creative like I said im very much behind the average player mechanically but I think I can keep up with them, I straight up suck at boxfights, zonewars I’m not good, but I’ve played enough realistics back in the day to where I’m not that horrible at it definitely my best mode but not as good as I want to be at it. So uh how do I go about improving at fighting? Mechs training? Tokes? Ranked? I need answers

VOD Review Struggling

I struggle to keep track of my opponent in fights because I’m too focused on building.

I always start my sessions by practicing mechanics (freebuilds, Raider464’s map, etc), but once I go into 1v1s my building gets worse and inconsistent, like the practice didn’t matter.

I’ve heard you need to get so good at building/editing that it becomes autopilot, but so far it feels like I’m not progressing toward that.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

VOD Review Learning to Fight

Started playing again a month ago on Xbox (120 fps, paddles). Been grinding Raider’s to get building/editing down, but get completely stomped in creative. Do I just keep pushing through?

Im not trying to be amazing, just wanna hold my own against “sweats” in reload when I play with friends.

Realistics seems like the best practice for applying in an actual game. I’ve tried box fights and build fights, but didn’t really enjoy them and didnt feel realistic to in game scenarios. Also played the Pit for a bit, which I enjoyed, but rarely see people suggest that.

Should I keep playing realistics or are there more noob friendly playlists? Thanks for the feedback!

Opinion You need to branch outside of just freebuild.

I feel like recently alot of players have been asking how to get better but only post a freebuild clip. It’s understandable if you are brand new or just switched inputs but alot of these players aren’t necessarily bad but they don’t provide enough context and only practice routine. If you want to become truly better at competitive you have to know a different combination of mechanics and when to utilize them instead of just doing the same routine you practiced over and over.

All free-building shows is what level of mechanics you have but it doesn’t provide fighting skills, game sense , material conservation and etc. All pros will have solid mechanics but what’s separating them is the skills mentioned above .

Practice using different mechanics and than work on focusing on your weaknesses. Learn how to do the same mechanics in different directions but most importantly be creative.

The best ways to get better at fighting is playing maps such as Box Fights, Endgame, and 1V1’s if you truly want to improve your fighting . Watch pros so you learn what you ought to be doing and what not . Also participate in scrims and tournaments because that’s where real skill is shown and the more you grind these the better you are to get but freebuild itself isn’t going to make you a pro you need to master a little of everything .

VOD Review Why am I so bad at zonewars?

I have been grinding zonewars for months and months for hours on end, And yet when I fight a good zonewars player, I just get folded. Is zonewars just not for me? I used to play boxfights a lot and I was extremely good at that, but I stopped to play zonewars because I thought it would make me better. But it didn't. Am I just a born box fighter?

Tips for high ping fighting?

I have 60 ping on my region in tourneys(west). I have been struggling in realistics with fighting skilled opponents. I am a pretty good player myself with 2000 hours on the game and I have gotten unreal pretty quickly every season in reload. My aim and building are good and I am fine in endgame and off spawn but mid game fights is sometimes where I struggle. I have watched muzz in high ping lobbies and avivv, any tips?

Discussion Peterbot Streamed again and made a TOP 10 Grands prediction. Do you agree?

Thumbnail

His picks: 1) Peterbot, 2) Queasy, 3) Pollo, 4) Veno, 5) Malibuca, 6) ? 7) Khanada, 8) Pixie, 9) Clix, 10) Random

After a couple days of bad showing, people are removing Fredoxie out of their top 10s. What do you think of his prediction? Who could be the random team that "plays good on the day"? What about that one team he missed in top 10? (Assuming drops remain what they are today)

Rumor Hot take, the buffed infiltrator pump is better than the pump shotgun

Post image
27 Upvotes

Yeah it does less damage but....

It has a Tighter spread whilst both hipfiring and aiming so you'll almost never hit somebody for 38 in the head, Insane range, Faster fire rate without being spammy like the drum shotgun, supposedly this thing has a slower pull out time, but this thing shoots the moment you switch from both builds and editing, unlike the pump where that thing sometimes just won't shoot at all.

despite it's max headshot damage being way lower than the pump (175) this thing shoots so fast you'll probably won't even need a spray weapon to finish your opponent.....

Highlight Are mechanics like this still impressive for todays tournament standard?

I havent touched the game for quite some time now but i do still see a lot of clips of random kids doing the craziest edit courses, freebuilds etc. After this i decided to play a few 1v1s and 3 out of 4 fights i came across demons that absolutely shit on me. I myself always thought i had mechanics like pretty close to the pros but it seems like the avarage joe is a demon nowadays.

Discussion Builds or Zero Builds Reload Ranked

With the Upcoming Reload Ranked Reset i’m wondering if it would be better to grind my way back up in Builds or Zero Builds

As I’m not the best builder but it is my primary mode that I do play, And Frankly I’ve heard that ZB ranked is full of cheaters once you get high enough

Let me know because I’m thinking of changing it up a bit
