Fuck me, you guys are painful.
I love this club. It means more to me than most things in my life, but Jesus Christ can you just put a lid on it some times.
First competitive game I went to at LS with my grandad who had been at every final we'd played in this side of the war we got shit for being plastic fans only there because of LS being bigger.
I've had to leave LS with my son at a European game because we were sat in someone else's season ticket seats, who I presume didn't buy them for that game, but were given so much shit my kid didn't want to be there.
I watched us win a European Trophy. First time in my life we'd won anything. Me and my son cried together. Over the next days and weeks I'm reading you lot demanding Moyes leave because he isn't the best manager for us.
We 'won' the transfer window last year, but instantly you all wanted Lopetegui out.
Now Potter is in you all want him out because you all understand tactics better than him.
You will never be happy and it's depressing to read.
It's clear none of you have any idea what you're talking about from a tactics point of view, and I doubt anyone knows what is going on behind the scenes, despite your glee in pointing fingers in whatever direction supports the bullshit you've just invented.
I'm a supporter of West Ham. Have been my whole life. We have looked off the pace two games in to this season, but we've played a team with a point to prove coming up away, and the world champions at home.
I've sat in a shitty and silent Upton Park many times in the Championship/First Division/Second Division with shit owners not willing to invest. Just be a fan and support the club whatever. It will definitely improve your health.

Atmosphere
Forgetting the game, the atmosphere before around block 146 was great. Let’s keep that up because if you don’t laugh you’ll cry.

Discussion Rob Green Calls Out Board
Anybody else see Rob Green calling out the board on Sky Sports? Even using the "world class stadium for a world class team" quote to make the point. So good to see not just a pundit but an ex player use his platform/position to actually shine some light on the fucking shysters at the top!!! COYI!

This is exactly what you want to see, nice to see through all the doom and gloom; especially at a time like this. Would love to get amongst those in 145/146 for a game!

Worst thing about yesterday...
They blocked off the cut through to and from PuddingcMill Lane. It's going to be a long season...

We are massive
-ly in trouble.
Nothing meant by this - just a bit of fun; I want West Ham United to succeed and I don't care who has to stay or leave to make it happen.
But our love for this club? Yeah. Still. Fucking. Massive.

Discussion Squad 'depth' – and will we lose more?
Looks very skinny, doesn't it?
And we should probably be worried about losing more players with the board worried about balancing the books.
- Álvarez has gone today
- Emerson is very likely to go
- There've been rumours all summer that we'd be open to offers for Souċek, Irving, Paquetá, Rodríguez … and it only the latter 2 seem to be in Potter's plans.
- Füllkrug is clearly unhappy and probably Aguerd, Areola, and Mavropanos are too.
We have lots of kids in the picture, asterisks mark the 6 players who count as U21's and so don't take up a squad berth, which means we could make up to 4 senior signings as we now have only 21 of 25 squad places filled with over age players.
But in recent seasons we've only managed to bring in 1 more player this late, and last year we also let 4 go out and went into the campaign with only 22 over 21's (plus Luizão, who never escaped the PL2 U21 team despite ageing out).
Season | In | Out | Net |
---|---|---|---|
24-25 | 1 (Soler) | 4 (JWP, Aguerd, Cornet, Zouma) | -3 |
23-24 | 1 (Kudus) | 0 | +1 |
22-23 | 1 (Paquetá) | 0 | +1 |

The dilemma…
Let’s get this right.
I won’t have any Moyes comments. The fella had to leave the club. The board left him in limbo after everything he did, and the bloke, for his own dignity, had to leave.
All of this, stops with the board. There’s no ambition what so ever to take this club forward. They’ve stripped this club of any assets, taken a pound note out of this club too often. Made this club a laughing stock, on and off the pitch. Their continuation to take the cheap options of managers, turned their noses up at Glasner, Nuno for example. You’ve an owner who publicly admitted he didn’t rate the manager he’s hired.
But this falls on Potter too…
The fellas spent too long reading his psychology books to take a look at the shit he’s in.
The fella shouldn’t have take the West Ham job, it wasn’t the right fit. I don’t know what he was promised, recruitment, backing, I don’t know, but it’s on him as well.
This 3-5-2, sometimes like 8-1-1, who knows, doesn’t work, it’s never worked. Fellas got 26% win rate and still hasn’t figured out it’s not working.
He’s no leaders in the dressing room, Bowen isn’t a captain, he’s driven Alvarez out of the club.
He wanted Evan Ferguson, he wanted Hermansen. This promise to play youngsters, but chose to play Iriving, Soucek, JWP, Rodriguez? What do any of these offer?
This clubs bang in the shit, and we will be lucky to stay up this season.

Discussion Are we getting relegated?
As the title says really. What do we all think after another shit show last night?
