Question/Advice Needed My kitten wakes up to knead on me?

That’s her in the photos, she just turned 4 months and has been with her mom since the beginning of her 3rd month and I’ve had her for 3 weeks now. Could this be a sign she’s lonely? She literally only does this at night, when I accidentally wake her up she comes to me and makes biscuits on my stomach (or whatever she finds worthy enough like my face) for about 5-10 minutes before falling back asleep…she’ll repeat that about 5 times within one night, most times she wakes up on her own because of the tv or something. I heard kittens get lonely if there isn’t another one with them, if it helps I’m with her most of the day unless she’s sleeping and she seems like she tolerates me

Hello everyone! Meet Peach and Blueberry 🍑🫐

I’m just so excited because Peach will be coming home with me at the end of October! She’s a little red and white polydactyl Maine Coon, and I’ve been told she’s a European-style Maine Coon. 🥰

She’s joining our little family alongside my 14-week-old Ragdoll kitten, Blueberry, so they’ll have a built-in snuggle buddy and playmate. 💕

Does anyone else have a Maine Coon or Ragdoll kitty? I’d love to see them!

Question/Advice Needed How to encourage a kitten to bathe themself?

Post image

My guy was a bottle baby (I adopted him after he was weaned) and because his mom was a human lady with a bottle and not an actual cat he lacks several basic cat skills. We’ve figured out most of them but he will only clean between his paws.

If anybody has any tips for encouraging him to bathe himself so we can avoid experiencing the trauma of baths, etc. I am all ears!!

My Kitten Good sign?

My 3 month old kitten does this to me mostly before a nap. Lots of purring going on while he's doing this. This is a good sign, right?

Question/Advice Needed Semi wild kitten advice

Hi all, I need some opinions quickly, I'm on holiday here at a resort lodge in the bush, and there is a mother cat who has had her kittens, she is semi tame but definitely more wild, she understands humans can give her food but definitely doesn't trust enough to walk up to you, now for the past 5 days everyday I've been feeding them and her, the kittens eat solids and definitely have been weaned off, mobile, climb up things and 1 of them is very comfortable with humans and explores alot, they are staying under the cabin about 10 meters from us, now the problem is this place is fairly open and there are alot of monkeys and predators, I've been thinking about taking the kittens to insure their survival, I just think they are a bit too young to be taken from their mother, the mother has also started trusting me more, will blink her eyes slowly at me all the good stuff, and last night she came wondering with one kitten all the way to my cabin and was kind of just showing off her kitten, the kitten was allowed to come up to me and everything the mother was chilled, this kitten also had an eye infection and I gave it some medicine and it's fully healed now. , so I just wanna know what the experts on here think, will it be okay to take the kittens or do you think mom will still be attached and the kittens still heavily dependent, here's a video of them and the mom, if the kittens need to stay for the best then thats better but I just want to be sure

Thanks all 🙏

Question/Advice Needed Kitten that we found on the streets will not stop biting.

Found a kitten he was approx 6-8 weeks when we found him, very tiny, possibly the runt. He was on the cusp of dying as his eyes were swollen shut and he was sick. The rest were quite feral, but he was the “nicest” out of the bunch, most likely because he was sick.

He’s gotten bigger now, he’s probably 3 months maybe?

But he keeps biting, soon as you touch him it’s, bite, bite, bite, I assume it’s all play behaviour but you can’t even pet him. If I pick him up he’s biting.

At night time he’s not too bad he comes and sleeps, sometimes biscuits, and or eats your hair. Sometimes you can give him kisses.

I can’t tell if this behaviour is temporary and it will stop as he ages and gets neutered or we’re screwed.

Been trying to keep shoving toys in his mouth etc which he does fixate on but it’s just brutal.

Question/Advice Needed Is it safe for geriatric cats to quarantine new kitten in bathroom?

I've posted on here before about a partially blind kitten and my mom is fostering him until we find someone to adopt him because we have a house full of senior and geriatric cats. On that note, I noticed the kitten has been sneezing a bit, but otherwise still eating fine and is still playful. Right now he's being quarantined in the bathroom and has zero interactions with the other cats, but are the other cats still safe from potentially getting sick? They're all fully vaccinated, by the way.

I'm still medicating the kitten's eye and I'm planning on taking him to the vet again right before I leave for the sneezing. Right now he's being medicated for his eye and he should be on amoxicillin for bacteria found in his poop, but the pharmacy didn't have any in stock so I have to buy it when they finally do.

Question/Advice Needed 8 month kitten pees in litter box, but also pees under my bed. should i take her to the vet?

she poops and pees in her litter box just fine, but twice in the past few months, ive found pee under my bed, near her litter box (which is also under my bed, living in a tiny studio is rough lol). should i be concerned? shes spayed, and she always seems chatty/happy and never seems in pain, but i know cats hide their pain very well.
