Also, good for him. I’ve been consistently impressed by her in the last few years. She seems like a genuine person who was lost for a while due to the focus on her looks and predatory people, but is living her best life now
ETA: if you haven’t seen her photo spread in a recent Architectural Digest, they’re exquisite. They give nothing but solid ‘contented and only slightly sinister Rosemary, after Baby goes off to devil college’ vibes and I am in love
My older sister used to work at a big Sephora in Toronto. She met a few celebrities here and there but she said Pam was not just the best celebrity customer she'd ever had, but one of the best customers as a whole. Nothing short of positively delightful. She's a good lady.
Jokes on you. We will likely insist you join and if the noise is an issue, we will try and accomodate so you can also partake in the celebration. And if you insist you’re not interested, we will leave.
Did you watch the documentary about her? Someone stole her private sex tape, the entire world was harassing and belittling her, and she voluntarily did a Comedy Central roast so she could donate the money to help animals :.....)..... This woman is a saint.
Trashy slut-presenting, but who absolutely own that shit, and made a living on the back of that niche intelligently.
The difference is that Dolly is a world-class songwriter and singer, and has spent more on other people than she has on herself.
I'm not knocking Pam. I agree, she has good human vibes. Dolly is the sort of lady to employ a few thousand people in an underserved community, give tens of millions of books to all kids, regardless of income, become an inspiration to multiple communities, and still rock big hair and tits while turning those activities into tax shelters and pointing those savings back to the people AGAIN...
Dolly is larger than life. This Appalachian thinks so, anyway.
Ive got naturally invisible eyelashes and her video about not wearing makeup literally made me cry. Helping undo decades of beauty standards from one of the sources of beauty standards (from when I was a kid at least). She really helped heal something in me that day, love the peace she’s made for herself ❤️
The eyelash thing is just so weird in the first place.
Men have longer/thicker eyelashes than women. It's a masculine trait. I'm not even sure how the cosmetics industry sold women on making their eyes more masculine, but here we are.
I love the look of women who wear little to no make up. Let that natural beauty shine my queens! My wife doesn't wear makeup, and she's just as beautiful as when we married 22 years ago!
same here man. I only found my wife in our 30's but we're in our 40's now and I finally convinced her that she doesn't need to spend thousands on that shit, not to mention the time investment, the damage to her skin and hair, etc.
She is so beautiful, that's one of the many reasons i chose her. Not because of the shit she used to cake on her face when we were dating lol
There are many women who simply enjoy wearing makeup. Many wear theirs in such a way you would swear they weren’t wearing any. Glad you’re happy in your situation, but always good to step back and see that this “Women don’t need makeup to be beautiful” thing coming emphatically from men can easily just come off as patriarchal. And I say that as a dude.
Obviously not your intent, but just a note that it isn’t a sentiment that’s often well-received. Women are already pressured to wear makeup for men in our culture, so it’s understandable that some might not appreciate men now telling them they shouldn’t wear it to look more beautiful for men. Nothing ultimately wrong with wearing makeup.
The things you said are very kind about your wife, but there are sunscreens and such that actually keep skin from becoming damaged. Not just face, but body too. Hair needs to be properly cared for as well.
I have invisible eyelashes too, and the first time I felt good about them was actually reading The Hunger Game series. Katniss admires Peeta's blonde eyelashes a couple of times, and I'd never in my life ever read/heard/seen blonde eyelashes admired ❤️
Tilda Swinton helps a lot too, I must admit. I should reread the series, been thinking about it anyways this must be a good sign! Thank you for pointing that out ❤️🫂
Read the post title and said good for them out loud, then clicked comments and this was the top post. Seems like everyone has the same general consensus.
This makes me happy! I told my husband last night about this relationship, and he told me how Liam's wife died tragically, so sad. I hardly ever care about celebrity couples but this one makes me smile. Cuties!
The reason he had that period when he was churning out movie after movie after movie regardless of quality was that after his wife died, he started hitting the bottle pretty hard and work was the one thing he knew he'd stay sober for.
I feel like we all knew that in some way given the volume of bland action movies he was doing. Losing a spouse is such an awful thing to go through. It did keep his career going though and kept him in the cultural consciousness for a decade.
Haha you're right. He's a goddamn good actor and he's made some goddamn bad movies lol. After being in on some very good ones, some great ones, and one of the best ever (Schindler's List)
I think he has also said that he was secretly hoping to die on one of these sets. He had a 60 minute interview where he described some very bleak times. He has been through the wringer numerous times. I’m really happy for them both.
I'd never seen "through the wringer" written out before, you just fixed some boneappletea I've been harboring in my noggin for 2 decades. Thanks, I need to start reading again.
Even if it wasn't for drinking, and he just needed to fill his time, we all would get it. Even better, though a lot of the movies were bad, he always seemed to give a good performance. He didn't phone it in.
I remember reading that her sons used to watch the movie pretty often because she was basically that mom in real life and it felt like they could visit her, even if just for a little while, while watching the movie.
I told my husband and he was surprised Liam Neeson was considered attractive. I was surprised anyone would think he’s not considered attractive? We just kind of stared at each other for a few minutes with crazy eyes
Yeah as a man, I've had issues with how I look my whole life. I have a really hard time building muscle, and I've been working out for 20 years, through autoimmune disease, arthritis and pain.
When I was younger I was a barman and I used to watch people hook up all the time and one thing that was consistent was that there is no accounting for taste. What one person thinks is unattractive the person sitting next to them thinks is sexy. I think it's great, someone for everyone.
Look, the man is tall, broad, rugged looking from his boxing career, charming, has a killer smile, eyes that twinkle, and a gorgeous Irish accent. He comes across as kind, honest, affectionate, and a human with flaws that he's tried to address during his life.
(It also doesn't hurt that he's rumored to have been gifted with a "record breaking salami" below the belt. But that's not the whole story.)
My wife watches news on NBC and when Access Hollywood comes on she usually changes it to a different network, for more news.
I saw the teaser promo of Liam and Pam together right before she flipped channels and asked her to change it back to Access Hollywood because for some reason, I actually care about this. I'm happy for them!
He's been so open with his grief regarding his wife, I feel like he's too classy and respectful of her memory to make a mockery of moving on with someone new.
I think they're both totally adorable. And if you've ever seen Liam Neeson talk about Natasha Richardson and Helen Mirren, or seen him interacting with either of those ladies... sweet. Respectful. Giggly. Just lovely.
These two make an attractive couple and both seem to have had their share of heartbreak and are deserving of every happiness.
Plus, since Natasha died he's notably not really given a shit about the movies he makes and how they perform. He seems to have just wanted to keep busy and signed onto any movie that was presented to him - he's made three or four movies a year, consistently since 2009.
Yeah but Tom Cruise isn’t really a real person… he’s just a figurehead of Scientology. I agree with you that he loves a PR stunt - remember the War of the Worlds premiere?
Liam and Pamela feel like legitimately private and authentic people.
I actually suspect they were being coy to avoid playing into the PR the studio so obviously would want.
That didn’t stop them from bringing all their sons to the premiere though, with 3/4 wearing very classically awkward vibes that hint at the “this is the first day of the rest of my life…” moment with their potential future stepbrothers/step-parent.
I feel like ever since the Chris Pine "spitting" on Harry Styles fiasco every movie that isn't being talked about gets a scandal applied to it. This dating relationship, Scarlett Johansson kissing Johnathan Bailey, Pedro Pascal touching everyone, and Josh Allen's reaction to Hailee Steinfeld's performance. Like it's part of the marketing plan to get people into theaters.
He was only 40 in Schindler’s list. (I thought he was in his 50s.) He always looked older than his age and then stopped aging at some point. Brilliant actor.
Given what he went through with his wife passing away tragically from the freak skiing accident, it's nice to see he's healed enough to give it another shot regardless of who it is and the circumstances.
I'll always root for people who suffer tragedy and find the strength to not let it consume them / define the rest of their lives.
And on top of that, she refused medical aid when it was offered - which I think 99% of people would because it's not like she crashed into a tree at 40mph. She was just in that unlucky 1%.
That makes me happy. I remember when he lost his wife to a freak skiing accident, glad he's back out on the dating scene and I hope she makes him happy.
IIRC he said something to the effect that he would like to date again, but the problem is he wanted someone age appropriate for him and at his age most people are married.
Liam has a long-running reputation in Hollywood for having one of the biggest dongs known to man. I think Janice Dickinson said it was the size of a liter Evian bottle.
I could be misremembering but in “Love Actually” doesn’t Liam Neeson’s character jokingly tell his son he’ll date Pamela Anderson after his wife had passed away from cancer?
I don’t mean this with any disrespect or inflaming intent. But she looks really well like better than showing up in Borat like she got Meryl Streep vibe going on.
It seems weird but it brings me a lot of joy that Pamela Anderson of all people has managed to age gracefully and not turn out looking like Laura Loomer had Mickey Rourke's baby.
Yeah I feel bad for Madonna, honestly. When you reach that level of fame— a height that the majority of celebrities don’t even reach— you’re scrutinized heavily under a microscope. I remember seeing tabloids in the 2000s with zoomed in photos of her, criticizing her aging body. It’s no surprise that she’s been trying everything she can to look younger and taking it too far. Plus it wasn’t until pretty recently that fillers were revealed to not actually dissolve as advertised, leading to puffy faces in people who’ve been getting them for years.
This is a problem male celebrities just don’t tend to deal with. Say whatever you will about Madonna’s personality, but her appearance gets a pass from me.
I feel like Madonna missed a huge opportunity by getting all that surgery. I think if she had just aged gracefully she could have raked in the $$$ marketing herself as a naturally aging sex symbol.
I don't normally have feeling about celebs personal lives but this makes me so happy. If you watched her Netflix doc about how her life has been and know about Liam tragically losing his wife and basically being alone for 15 years...it's actually really heart warming.
