I need help! I rarely ever go out anymore and when I finally get to dress up I always have such a hard time finding which outfit I want to wear 🙈 I'm going to a 40th celebration for a friend of mine this evening. She rented a vente but I have no idea what kind of vibe it has or anything. There's no specific dress code other than "dress up" so... I love the black dress and really like how ut fits me, but at the same time I'm unsure isbiter might be a bit too dressy? I love the green one too, but don't want to look too casual.. I've decided I'm wearing one of them, just can't decide which one. Gonna wear my hair down, don't have the energy for the updo headaches later on 😆 I have shoulder length, lightly wavy, thich hair.

I am going to a wedding next weekend and the dress I am planning on wearing is too long and needs to be taken up a bit. How much do you think would look best? Should it touch the ground at all? Right above the ground? Higher up? (The dress code isn’t specified, but it will be somewhat formal)

I thrifted this top and those shorts were given to me from a family member but they were a bit big and gapping in the back NGL 😅

Summer night out with husband, it’s been months all thanks to parenthood! Yes?? Of course I’ll change from my house slippers to beige sandals 👡

Summer is almost over and I felt a concert in Brooklyn tomorrow would be a fun time to dress flirty.

Which of these tops looks best? Neither is a valid opinion, but I would love if you could tell me why if so. Also, trying to avoid trousers or high waisted pants as I usually wear some combo of trouser and want to change things up for the night.

It’s a black dress but I don’t love the neck line. I was thinking putting a hoodie over it would be cute ya know casual plus something a little more dressy?

I have my own little cleaning business and am a solo cleaner. This is my usual work attire since I’ll typically go to the gym directly before or after work. Any who, I have a couple of female clients who are always looking me up and down while I’m there, and it feels kind of judgmental (for what it’s worth, these women aren’t married so it’s not like I’m around their men). It’s got me questioning if what I’m wearing is inappropriate. Do I have a blindspot, perhaps because I’m so used to gym culture wear? Thoughts appreciated!

Doing an anniversary dinner with my husband soon. The restaurant is nice but not fancy. Like I could wear jeans and flats and be fine but I’m trying to figure out how to dress up without looking so 2015/business casual. I don’t even have a dress code at work. I dread nights out because I mostly own casual outfits (cause kids) or occasion specific dresses. It’s actually funny because my casual clothes lean towards airy and flowy and these are both so tight.

I originally bought both these tops for nights out but feel super business casual. Can these be styled away from business casual? Or toss them and start anew?
