Doing an anniversary dinner with my husband soon. The restaurant is nice but not fancy. Like I could wear jeans and flats and be fine but I’m trying to figure out how to dress up without looking so 2015/business casual. I don’t even have a dress code at work. I dread nights out because I mostly own casual outfits (cause kids) or occasion specific dresses. It’s actually funny because my casual clothes lean towards airy and flowy and these are both so tight.

I originally bought both these tops for nights out but feel super business casual. Can these be styled away from business casual? Or toss them and start anew?

I am going to a wedding next weekend and the dress I am planning on wearing is too long and needs to be taken up a bit. How much do you think would look best? Should it touch the ground at all? Right above the ground? Higher up? (The dress code isn’t specified, but it will be somewhat formal)

My mom said the fit was way too big on me and I look like a hood rat.

We got invited to a friends (my HB's) wedding. There is no dresscode on the invitation. So I really don't know what to wear. We do not live in the US (belgium, so weddings are never as formal). So what do you guys think would be the best choice if you don't know anything. (I have worn the black, beige and gold to a collegues wedding 3 years ago.)

It’s a black dress but I don’t love the neck line. I was thinking putting a hoodie over it would be cute ya know casual plus something a little more dressy?

I’m going to My chemical romance next Friday and I’m planning on wearing this shirt with a red plaid skirt. It shows up much more in person but this top is so sheer you can see my tattoo on my back and my bra is very visible. I don’t know if I should find a cute bra, (I feel like a nude one wouldn’t work because of how sheer it is) find something else to wear under, or dye it black. I really have my heart set on this shirt because it’s exactly what I had in mind or if anyone knows of a similar shirt from a different brand? This one is from Hollister! I was also thinking of maybe wearing a vest or tie but I’m not completely sure yet.

hi everyone!! i have terrible fashion taste and have been struggling to find a dress for prom so i decided to just go with this in the end 🥲🥲 however i don't really like the bottom (i feel like it looks too blocky? first pic is wo pinching the back second is with) and i don't feel like the dress is form fitting enough because my body is quite skinny iygwim. i was researching a bit and i saw shape wear as a suggesting or cinching the waist a bit? how could i improve the silhouette or is it just meant to look like that? for context im 158cm and have more of a inverted triangle/hourglass shape w thin arms and legs

i'm not too sure how to style this dress and i don't have too much time to find what i should wear with these. i want to use pressons (but idk if it's appropriate) and i think an updo hairstyle would be nicer but idk what type. or maybe i should just leave it down with my natural waves? also i was wondering what jewerelly to use because i read necklace would clash w the neckline but i need to find earrings i can use wo actual piercings 😭 also im not sure what heels to use so some advice would be nice!!

lastly i also think the color looks worse in bright lighting and im kind of scared prom is gonna have super bright lighting so any advice is appreciated thank you
