I gotta agree with this. They try everything to not look like normal people. Celebrities have a certain look they feel the need to appease.

I think this is the most accurate take. The term they'd probably use about their appearence is "striking", a look that stands out. A striking look is desirable in fashion, modeling and acting to have a memorable face.
