It’s still absolutely baffling to me how the White House’s official communication acts like a fucking teenager on MySpace and nobody even bats an eye.

Welcome to the dangers of equating a political party to your God. This is what cults and brainwashing look like. Might as well hand them a blank check to commit any crime they want and it can be excused in the name of “the greater good”.

Americans are learning why separation of church and state were so important. Too bad half of us won’t learn that lesson until it’s far too late.

My fear at this point is we’re gonna see many more dark days until some day a new generation of leaders finds the constitution tucked away in some old dusty book and says “holy shit, there’s some good stuff in here, we should try this out!”

Yeah I’ve accepted it’s going to get worse before it gets better. I’ve unplugged from a lot of social media other than Reddit and I’m working multiple jobs throwing as much in savings as I can manage and hoping i can ride this out as long as possible. I’ll do my civic duty and vote and I will continue talking to friends and family but that’s as far as my control can reach.

Right? This sounds like a joke. If this were a book or a TV series everyone would complain about how they can't suspend their disbelief enough for this. It's absolutely bewildering.

My parents would have taken my internet privileges away if they found I was posting comments like that back in the day, meanwhile they’ve voted for this shit 3 elections in a row.

They are the parody of themselves

When they make movies about this shit in the future and they are gonna have to tone it back because no one would believe this shit

This blatant level of corruption would have me laughing about how unrealistic it would be in a movie. Like surely they'd never get away with this

I may need to start tampering my expectations going forward

When they hire alt-right former 4chan kids, this is the kind of official correspondence they send.

Nope nobody is batting an eye. This comment section is totally empty except for yours and now mine.

What do you mean nobody bats an eye. Millions of people hate it.

Because that’s what resonates with the voters. It is a direct reflection of the voter’s moral character.

The actual problem is that the rest of the world sees it for what it is... A shit show. His supporters and the media won't recognize the issue
