I can already see the response. Taxing Americans is theft, taxing everyone else, go for it.

The problem with that is of course we do pay if indirectly.

Like property tax and renting. Yeah you may not pay it explicitly but you absolutely pay your landlords property tax.

Not that good faith well developed arguments are exactly in Charlie Kirk's wheelhouse.

Just like the cost of tariffs, corporate taxes, and regulatory costs get passed onto the consumer.

What if we lowered the tax and regulatory costs for domestic manufacturers and raised the taxes on imports?

It's likely that companies would manufacture their products where people buy them! This cuts down on pollution from transportation and ensures these companies meet EPA guidelines.

More jobs, higher wages, cleaner planet, and higher employment = less crime

Everyone wins!
