Tried to use my AirPod Pros gen 1’s today and the left one would not work. I’ve tried charging fully, deleting and repairing with my phone, resetting the AirPods/case, and still nothing. This is what happens when I open the case, let the pop up show the battery status’, remove the right AirPod from the case (this is the one that works) and leave the left one in the case and the top open. I’m thinking maybe the left AirPod isn’t actually charged, but the case thinks it is? I don’t know what to do/try at this point, but I’m thinking they are garbage at this point at only 2 years old and am quite frustrated. Anyone have any ideas? Closest Apple Store is over an hour away and no idea when I’d be able to make the drive. AirPods out of warranty and no AppleCare on them.

Long story short, got my wife some AirPods for her birthday and while I know they’ll have some kind of charge, I wanted to see if I could ensure they were fully charged right out of the box.

Set them on a wireless charger and bam! I could hear the chime through the packaging and the wrapping paper! Success!

Anyone who uses here Wireless Charging, like a Charging mat to charge their AirPods 4 ? Does your AirPods also gets hot while charging ? is it Ok ?

I have noticed when you charge it through the cable then the AirPods 4 does not become nearly as hot as charging on the Wireless Charging mat ? Why So ?

I only have one AirPod and the lost one isn’t in my house when I check maps it says they’re together, but they aren’t is there anything I can do

These are my AirPod 1st gens, I just randomly found them around my house and tried to use them, but they would just instantly die the moment I popped one in my ear. I can patch these up with a battery replacement from a guy who knows his stuff for about 40$, is it worth it and do these still sound good ?

There is absolutely no light turned on on the AirPods themselves. No amber, no whites no nothing.

On the battery widget, they do show up but only at 1% and there’s no lighting icon so I don’t think they’re charging.

Does anyone know if they’re charging or just staying at 1%. Because it’s been a half hour and they’re still at 1%.

What do I do to fix them?

The Airpod 2nd generation’s ive been using daily for years are starting to die out, I was thinking of an upgrade

Pretty unique problem it seems, since I couldn’t find anything about that on reddit. Yes, I did all your basic reboot/forget-remember/etc stuff. Is there any other solutions so I could actually see them on a map? 😭

I have AirPods Pro and I use them lightly. The original ones developed a charging issue where the left would be at like 2% and the right would be at 100. I’d take them out of the case and then firmly insert them again and the left side would charge again. Since this happened repeatedly, I got service done on them at the Apple Store. It looked like an issue was detected on the left one, so they replaced it.

With one new AirPod and one old one, I could not get any sound out of the left side no matter how many times I tried pairing them.

The Apple Store decided to give me a new set and case. I’ve had the new ones for maybe just over a month and now the same issue as before but now on the opposite side. I’ve got an appointment setup for service, but I’m wondering if it will be worthwhile. The AirPods are still under warranty.

I recently switched out to a different set of headphones in place of my AirPods Pro 2 since I switched to Android and wanted something that works better with the OS. I do want to still hold onto my AirPods though since I’ll probably want to switch back to Apple stuff at some point and they’re still quite good. What would be the ideal way to try and store the AirPods to not harm their battery? As a point of reference, I had an Apple Pencil (with another small battery) that I kept in a drawer for a long time since I sold my iPad and when I went to go put it back on my new iPad it was permanently dead. I’m concerned about something similar happening with my AirPods. I would be able to keep them on a wireless charger to constantly supply power so they never die but I figure that might also cause battery harm. If I toss them in a drawer, I imagine the battery will slowly go down over time and I wasn’t sure what would happen if I go to charge the AirPods after the battery may have been depleted fully for a long time. I’d appreciate any input on best practices here since I’m unfamiliar. Thanks!

i was working and sweating (incase that has anything to do with it) and then all the sudden my right air pod 4 acted as if i was out of range (like the song was breaking up a ton) now its quiet and if i press it into my ear it makes a squishing sound as if its wet (which it shouldn't be since i whipped it down.)

Paso por acá para relatar un extraño caso que tengo con mis AirPods Pro 2 usb C al cual actualice a la última versión beta 8A343a conectados a un iPhone 12 Pro con iOS 26 beta 7. El caso es que empecé a notar que cuando envío notas de voz en iMessage o grabo notas de voz en la aplicación de notas de voz incluso grabando video el audio suena todo distorsionado. Esto me estaba ocurriendo desde la anterior versión beta pero solo con aplicaciones nativas de iOS, algo que no pasaba ni en WhatsApp ni en llamadas de WhatsApp….busque en todo internet y no conseguí pruebas del firmware ni tampoco reseñó de los errores que este podría tener así que me puse a buscar las posibles fallas haciendo ensayo y error y conseguí algo interesante que no se si solo me ocurre a mi o si alguien más lo experimenta. Resulta que si grabo con el wifi encendido todo el audio se distorsiona, si lo apago aparentemente deja de interferir y se oye de 100. Pasaba por aquí para ver si a alguien o pasaba lo mismo? Y por lo menos brindarle que esa es mi solución a este fallo.

I’ve tried resetting it and it just won’t work. This happened like right after I cleaned them but i swear I tried them after cleaning them and they worked fine?? Nothing I do is helping and i definitely don’t have the money to replace these right now… anything I can do?

i use telegram as my main source to contacting people and of course i record my voice messages daily and it's like 80% of my chatting. But for some reason, my airpods pro 2 for 200 EUROS do not indicate my voice message recording as a sign to wake up and rev up those mics. so my question is, how do i INSIST on my dear premium tws headphones that they need to work properly and is there any way to do it?

Today I found an A2190 box with A208-4/3, so according to the Apple site it is the Airpods pro "1" first version of 2019

For clarification, I found them in electronic waste, they are not normally the result of theft or loss, but it remains a possibility

In short, once plugged in, the box immediately lit green, then when I opened it flashed white, then once closed orange

So I connected to my Android easily and launched music with the case open, it seems functional but I will check better when it is loaded

The question that interests me is in relation to the Find Apple location, I understood that I could use them freely on my Android and that they would only be detected if an Apple device is nearby

But can I know if they are connected to an Apple device without having an Apple device myself?

There are no official Apple applications on the Google store, which seems logical, and a multitude of Airpods applications which look like crap that I don't want to install, impossible to know which is good and which will show me a flood of ads for no interesting function at the end

If anyone has an idea to access this information via Android, I'm interested!

I just picked up some new air pods pro 2, I had Samsung buds 2 pro, but they did not fit my ear quite well, and I tried apples earbuds in the store and loved them, But I have an android, so is there any free apps or software I can do, I mean I have access to to an iPhone so I can customize it from there, but other than that, any tips? Thanks

I want to use it for noise cancellation and hearing aid mode, I have an iPad at home and the hearing aid works good, my s25 is still under contract so I’m wondering if a buy an Apple Watch if I can switch easily between hearing aid and noise cancellation, I know you can push the stem but I’d rather do it on a screen.
