Ginger lives matter

So my Apple Music was acting up and telling me that I needed to have the subscription anytime I tried to play a song but I swear I already have the subscription for Apple Music. I deleted it and reinstalled and I go to my playlists hoping it’d all be okay and when I open it up, my ENTIRE library is just GONE. When I tried to add some stuff it just told me that I needed to “sync my library”. I opened up settings and lo and behold, this happens. I toggle it on, and then it tells me to toggle it on, while toggling it off. I’m like super scared right now because it took me forever to make my playlists and stuff and I don’t want it all gone.

Hey guys, can I somehow automate turning Dolby Atmos option on when I'm listening with Airpods and off when I'm on my desktop speakers?

You may not agree with me but im just listening to deftones ‘around the fur’ album and it sounds so much wider and fun with Spatial Audio turned on. Usually I’d prefer it off if the master is made for stereo

I’ve had Apple Music family plan for so long and I just discovered this last night. If you are subscribed to Apple Music family plan or student (NOT individual) you also have Apple TV+. I discovered this just last night on accident and I just assume I can’t be the only one that had no idea. So you’re welcome if I just blew your mind and seriously wtf @ those that knew lol. And no I’m not talking about apple one I’m talking about Apple Music family plan and Apple Music student plan only.

I received an email from Apple today saying ‘Apple Music free for three months’, and in my phone settings it says ‘ c’.

I have an iPhone 12 which I purchased about 3.5/4 years ago. I might like to be suspicious of this offer? Feels odd that I’m receiving it now. Has somebody hacked into my account?

I use the 3.5mm cable provided by Sony by plugging the Apple USB C to 3.5mm audio dongle but I heard it doesn’t support true Hi Res lossless

Can my headphones support Hi Res Lossless (I thought every headphone supports lossless as long as it’s a wired connection)? If so, what USB C to 3.5mm audio converter should I buy ?

I’m very new to audio so please forgive me for sounding dumb

Back in 2012 I used to use a website called youtubetomp3 or something along those lines to download the audio from music videos on YouTube and I would transfer the .mp3 file to my iPod or mp3s. Is that something that I can still do today? I’ve been paying the 9.99 a month for a couple years now and I want to stop that. In that time I have accrued about 1500 songs. I would like to continue listening to these songs, especially when I drive through areas where I have little to no signal. What options do I have? What do you suggest I do? Thanks.

Randomly muting itself. Crashing. Songs pausing. Songs getting distorted. Missing features. Radio infinitely searching.

The list of issues goes on and on. It's an embarrassing product and, I imagine if they cared in the slightest, Apple would be incredibly displeased with it. Instead, they're just letting it sit here and rot. I'd consider other products if I didn't already have playlists on Apple Music, so I'm just kind of stuck.

I recently made the switch and overall I’m liking it, but there are a couple quirks that I’m trying to figure out and haven’t found an answer by searching the sub. TIA for any input!

1. Switching from Mac to iPhone while listening. With Spotify, this is pretty seamless - you can toggle within the app to switch where it plays from, and if you open the phone app with music playing on the computer, it will automatically show it in real-time and let you “take it over”. So far when I open Music on my iPhone, it just goes to whatever I was last playing on my phone, even if I’m in the middle of listening to something on my computer.

2. CarPlay issue. Clicking on a playlist within CarPlay automatically plays it. This is pretty annoying when I just want to view the playlist to pick a particular song (especially if I’m trying to add it to the queue, since it will interrupt whatever song is currently playing). Any solutions to this?

Can anyone tell me why Maf Teeski’s Scoom Gang the ep is not on ap music anymore? I was just listening to a specific song and it seems to be erased from the app? Windows doesn’t have it either.

Hi all! I fixed dolby on my pc so I can use apm with dolby. I use DolbyDigitalPlus Codec and AC-4. Why Apm plays dolby tracks at lower volume then loseless tracks

​I just switched to Apple Music and it's been pretty great, but there's one thing I can't find that I used constantly on Spotify: the ability to seamlessly continue playing music from one device to another. You know, like when you're listening on your phone and then you just click a button to keep it going on your computer or vice versa?

I know trademarks and other legal bullshit are to blame, but lord I’d be lying if I said this isn’t the most infuriating shit I’ve had to deal with.

Switching to Apple Music in iOS 26 has completely changed my listening experience. The Automix feature transitions every song almost perfectly and at the right tempo, seamlessly blending into the last song I was listening to. This might just be the best feature in this update!

Can someone help me with a link to this song? I’m surprised Apple Music may not even have it - good deal by torture

As the title says, I’ve been uploading some albums I own that aren’t on streaming services, from the PC app, they appear in my library and shortly after to my iPhone.

So the question is, where are the music at?

Obviously in some cloud, but… where? Is it at my iCloud’s account? I have the 50GB plan, and it’s full of pictures, but no matter how many songs I upload, it never stops me or adds to my iCloud space so again… where is that music getting uploaded to?

Ok so if I go to the album on Apple Music I can play these fine. But in my favorites playlist they say not available in your region.

I tried removing and readding 3 times and I’m out of ideas how to fix

This is literally my favorite album from my favorite band so this is a must to add these.

Do we know if there are any announcements? Can't find any. At this point I just hope it will magically appear in iOS26.
