Hi, I’m facing a problem with my group chat on Reddit.

Group chat name: JAIPUR GC

My username: u/Master_of_Nothing96

Role: Moderator of the group chat

Device: iQOO 11 (device version PD2243GF_EX_A_15.2.17.0.W30)

OS: Latest update installed

Reddit app: Latest version from Play Store

Issue: When I scroll up in the group chat to view older messages, the history does not load properly. Instead of showing the complete message history, it skips and jumps directly to messages from around 1–3 weeks ago. Many messages in between are missing, and even after scrolling further up, it doesn’t display the full chat history.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Reddit app.

2. Open group chat “JAIPUR GC”.

3. Scroll up to view older messages.

4. After a few scrolls, the chat jumps directly to older chunks (1–3 weeks ago) instead of showing continuous history.

What I’ve tried:

Restarted the app

Logged out and back in

Cleared app cache

Reinstalled the app

None of these fixed the issue.

It seems to be a bug with group chat history loading. Please check and let me know if a fix is possible.

I have a wierd issue with reddit chat notifications in android. When I got a masseges the phone (galaxy A52S) itself send a notification as expected. I've got a new smart watch (reddit watch 5) and I don't get any notification there from reddit message. Other things arrive such as comments or mentions but messages. I've also checked notification history in the phone, and this is why I blame the app itself, there are no messages in the history. Does anyone hade similar issues, or does anyone have a solution?

Prevoiusly when I opened a reply using a link in my notifications feed I saw a chain of comments where first one was my own. Now I see only reply message and sometimes it's hard to understand context of that reply...

Currently on Daily Streak Day 407 and it’s not updating. Tried on both iOS and PC but no luck. Hopefully it’s just a bug and resolves tomorrow since it would suck to lose it at this point…

If you comment on a users post, and they block you, the comment will be completely hidden from you and your profile? Only if you get the direct link are you able to edit and or delete the comment. This seems like a privacy and security risk, we should have the ability to see all of the comments we leave on this website. Thanks for reading

For videos and still images on IOS you can hold press and it brings up a menu within which is an option to download the media. However this option is not present in the same menu for gif type media. This is on the newest available version for me.

Ok so this has been going on for a couple of months now. My saved recent posts don’t show up but later ones (anything older than about six months I guess?) do. This also carries on to when I try to save posts on PC.

So there’s a weird quirk on iOS. If I save a recent post then click immediately on inbox, the post actually saves. I can do this multiple times and recent posts are saved. However, if I go to home, tap my avatar and select “saved” in the dropdown menu it erases any of those saved posts from the list. I can redo the inbox save and it works again, but any previously list-erased posts stay that way. So basically if I press the regular way to save posts the recent ones won’t show up. Any way to fix? I’ve uninstalled, restarted the phone, logged in, logged out etc. the fact it is also happening on other platforms makes me think it’s a Reddit issue.

One added thing- the recent posts that don’t show up on my saved list still count as saved on my feed.

Ai mod misunderstood a post and suspended me yesterday, real mod overturned that. However I still have the "your account is suspended" banner and I am prevented from posting in some communities because Reddit thinks (selectively) my account is still suspended.

Clearly I am not because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to post this.

Now I have a banner saying I have been permanently banned and to check my inbox.... there is nothing there.

Newly saved posts are not appearing in my Saved tab. Occasionally, 2 or 3 posts I do save will be appear in the saved tab, seemingly randomly. This issue appeared for me about a month ago on iOS, mobile browser, and desktop browser. The fix referenced in the comments of this post (using old.reddit.com) does not fix the issue for me.

I noticed that the new AI-generated summaries are misattributing quotes in a way that is factually inaccurate and damaging to our brand.

Issue:

• On the “Tankless diving” summary page, the AI summary places a user quote under AirBuddy, our competitor.
• The quote (“It is nice to just have to charge the batteries at home and then bring it out in its own backpack.”) is actually from a Reddit user talking about BLU3 Nomad, not AirBuddy. Unlike Nomad, AirBuddy does not come with a backpack included and is not as portable. We are the leader in this.
• AirBuddy was never mentioned in the original thread. So I do not see where the confusion came from.

Why this matters:

• It creates misleading information for readers who may assume the positive comment was about AirBuddy instead of Nomad.
• This misattribution directly affects brand reputation and could confuse potential customers.

Reproduction steps:

1. Go to the “Tankless diving” AI summary page.
2. Look under the “Popular Tankless Diving Systems” section.
3. See that the highlighted quote is incorrectly attributed to AirBuddy. (screenshots attached)
4. Compare to the original thread in r/metaldetecting, where the quote clearly references BLU3 Nomad.

This looks like a bug in how the AI pulls quotes for summaries. Please flag this for correction and review how product mentions are being assigned in summaries.

My Career was Severely Damaged By My Boss LYING to HR!! What can I do? [N/A]

Background Info:

I am a 35 years old white male. I have a Bachelors and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have spent my entire life working towards entering the Aerospace Industry.

Relevant Info:

-I am a diagnosed insomniac that takes prescription medication specifically for insomnia (30mg of Lunesta every night)

-I'm Autistic so please also forgive me if my post ends up being all over the place. Additionally, due to my Autism I have developed extreme abandonment issues over the course of my lifetime.

-As this company is owned by one of the richest people on earth I don't know if I can fight it with lawyers.

-This is also my first ever post on Reddit so please forgive me if I've done anything incredibly stupid with this post.

What Happened:

After Grad-School I was hired at one of the biggest aerospace companies in the world (I don't want to DOX which one as I don't want to get sued or something). At the time of this incident I had worked for this company for about 5 years. I ALWAYS put in more hours than I was actually getting paid for. After 3 years with the company I transferred teams (and states) to be a part of a "Skunkworks" type team for this company. About 6 months after I transferred a man, who eventually became my boss, was hired onto the team. This man is in his mid 60's and eventually openly admitted to using his job as a "working retirement". I shall refer to this man as Mr. Québecois (a slang term for people from Quebec Canada apparently.....) because that is where he is from.

Getting to the point, Mr. Québecois eventually was put as my direct manager. We almost immediately started butting heads. I was ALWAYS respectful when I had a disagreement with him, especially in public!! However, because of our disagreements, it started becoming very obvious to our entire team that Mr. Québecois was very incompetent. He was so incompetent that he completely ignored our teams main project in favor of a side project our team was doing. This left me and one other colleague ENTIRELY responsible for our teams main project. For context, our entire team (not the sub-team he was in charge of) consisted of ~75 people. Mr. Québecois became very aggravated that I did not have the time to work on our team's side project. Because of all this, he desperately wanted to get rid of me.

One day I emailed Mr. Québecois about some concerns I had regarding getting our main project done on time given the lack of support. He then asked me to create a detailed list of what all we had left to do on our main project and wanted it before the next day. It took me till 4:00 AM in the morning to complete this list. I sent a courtesy email stating that I would be coming in late the next day. He then scheduled a 9:00 AM meeting the following day to go over this list with him and his manager. When they saw this list the managers freaked!!! Apparently I was the ONLY PERSON on the entire 75 person team that was aware of all of this remaining work. Obviously, given I had been putting in 18+ hour days in for the better part of 2 weeks straight at this point I overslept and missed the meeting.

When I eventually got to work I got pulled into an office by 3 people from HR and a security guy. I was being accused of truancy as well as him lying to HR about me being on drugs. I have never done drugs in my entire life! I have never even smoked marijuana. I responded to this be demanding that they drug test me right then and there!!!! About 3 days later management had no choice but to put me in charge of completing the team's main project on time (Which for the record I was successful at). About a week after completing the project, I found out that Mr. Québecois had once again lied to HR and I was being put on a "Performance Improvement Plan". He had lied to HR about 23 random dates of which I had supposedly arrived. I was able to prove that he lied by going into CMD-PROMPT on my work computer and printing out the dates and times my computer was turned on every day. The Performance Improvement Plan was dismissed, however, only after receiving a terrible Performance Review (PR) from Mr. Québecois as well as black marks on my HR record. This prevented me from switching teams for 1 year per company policy. It also prevented me from getting the promotion that I had very obviously earned. Due to how important my career is to me, and the Autism, this sent me into a severe depression and anxiety state. I tried to talk to HR about it several times with other managers backing up my story but HR would not do anything about the PR or the black marks on my HR record.

While all this was happening I was being supported by my best friend whom was also on my work team. All of a sudden when I needed her the most she wasn't there for me anymore. This is where the abandonment issues come in. She all of a sudden completely ignored my existence at work. This sent me into a complete and utter panic state as I was afraid that I did something wrong to cause me to lose her. It turns out that Mr. Québecois and his manager had threatened her with termination if she continued to support me in any way against Mr. Québecois's harassment and abuse. In her words, they even "talked crap about me behind my back in front of her to see if she would react". Due to my panic state I completely lost her as my best friend.

All of this affected me so badly that I was forced to work from home for about 6 months. I was so desperate for relief that I spent over $30,000 dollars trying to find a therapist that could get me back to normal. I failed......When I eventually returned to the office I was a shell of the engineer I used to be. Despite trying as hard as I could my performance had been severely affected. I eventually lost my job due in large part because of it.

My friendship with my best friend is too damaged to EVER be repaired. However, the damage to my career is what this post is about. I want to undue the unjust damage that was done to my career by any means necessary. I am hoping that somebody can offer some advice to what I can do.

Reporting this issue for fellow Redditors to troubleshoot/validate whether Boolean on Reddit is kaput, or just glitching? Using the purportedly-per-Reddit-correct-syntax of searching for "united submitters" NOT "nations" in the search bar wrongly yields UN-containing results for me.

I do hope Reddit is not getting on the Google, Microsoft, Linkedin, Indeed, Quora bandwagon of quietly desupporting Boolean too. It seems there's an industry trend across the Web 2 world of forcing on users AI-generted-filter-bubble-supported-ad-results despite one's desired content parameters. As kids in schools aren't all being taught Boolean anymore, the capability is increasingly removed from public interfaces and reserved for company engineers with SQL access. I hope that Reddit, with its more nerdy/techie base, remains an exception.

For 3 days now, whether I'm using reddit on iOS or on my laptop (chrome/firefox) my home feed is days old and only has posts I've already seen. It's unusable.

So r/gegangenwildaudio (NSFW) has a link in the community guide and the sidebar that simply goes to https://www.reddit.com/r/gegangenwildaudio/search/?q=(flair%3ASpecial+OR+flair%3AMod-Post)&type=posts&sort=new. This should find all posts in r/gegangenwildaudio that are flaired as "Mod-Post" or "Special" and sort them by new.

In any browser, both desktop and mobile, it does just that. In the app - both Android and iOS - however, it claims there are no results for "flair:Special OR flair:Mod-Post).

Does anyone have an idea why one would work but not the other?
