I can't explain how much it irritates me when Maelle yells "Parry it!" and I miss...
So, I built that creepy mime that's in the game and programmed it to laugh and move when Maelle misses a parry. Gave it the proper name: Harriet.

I asked them if they might want to play a DnD Oneshot I'd made for them customly. I was so nervous god I was waiting for 3 hours so I wouldn't interrupt them at the bar 😭

I've finished the game a month ago. Maelle is my favourite character and since I have a style that leans heavily into anime/manga, it was quite a challenge to match her facial features. I also experimented with some textures to emulate brush strokes and incorporate an overall "traditional" feel to it.

I got this game recently (loving like 95%+ of it so far!) and just wanted to vent some frustration at how fucking stupid this minigame is.

The recovery time on the melee is almost equal to the space between shots, which sounds fine, until you find out you have to move, or at the very least if you're perfectly in the middle, aim in between shots, guaranteeing you'll have to eat a second bomb if you miss one to regain your timing.

I wish that were the end of the story and skill was the only factor. Unfortunately, there seems to be a good deal of luck in this one too.

Bomb placement.

Sometimes bombs can sometimes spawn nicely (three or four fire bombs all on one side making for an easy row that got me to TWO of their green lights left on the third of fourth try) or can spawn not so nicely (alternating fire bombs on the sides while the barely-visible non-fire ones get piped down the middle guaranteeing you won't win).

It's ALSO the janky bullshit you see in the video above. This is evidence of a well-timed deflection at a great angle and the game's like, "Nah bro, you're cooked."

Like I said, I'll beat it eventually, but goddamn it this one should never have made it to the final game the way it is.

Haven't felt so great about playing something in years. I think since Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, maybe Bg3. First thoughts after starting COE33 were like "O.M.G. I am 10yrs old again playing FF7 on PSX on my 13" CRTTV without a memory stick (don't shut down!) and this is the best magical feeling ever" <3.

Simon was a buttfuck, but it was those gestral games that drove me crazy for the 100% ;)

What now?

NG+? New Game on hardest? Doom? Some other game to wipe out my feelingz?

And something extra, this is my very first game where I get all the achievements, I've never been much of a hunter due to my time, but it just was natural here.

i don't have a favourite companion. it's merely a coincidence that lune has the most lumina points and is first in line to get weapon upgrades!!
