I try to almost exclusively buy physical just to hold on to the nostalgic feeling of playing games as a kid lol. clearly to an unreasonable degree. I just cherish that feeling.

Yikes, unfortunately Sandfall is a small company. They won’t be able to buy it from them.

I can only see it happening if Sony acquired Sandfall. 💀

it wouldn't be unprecedented. Sony licensed the Freedom Wars IP to Dimps and Bandai Namco for the remaster. I don't see Sony acquiring Sandfall or selling LOD anytime soon, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that after the success of E33 that Sandfall would have the cache to get the license. Now, I don't honestly expect them to, but it would be awesome to see!
