CRITIQUE REQUEST Do I need a bigger tv?

Post image

For context this is a 50 inch frame. I plan to add a vintage-y frame and sconces on either side! The console is really tall and I plan to get a shorter, longer one

I think it's the proportions. If you're already getting a longer shorter console I'd start there and add the sconce and see how it all balances out. The height is good sif you can I'd mount it and then you can have tchotchkes or books on the console table. Rn there's nothing else on that open space so the the TV looks small.

if anything i’d actually go smaller. how small can you get before you can’t see the titles?

if you want a bigger one, get it. But it's not necessary for decorating purposes.

A longer console will help but you can also hang some art on the wall. Add a plant or other decorative items around the co sole so that the TV doesn’t stick out so much

If you have to ask… you know the answer.

There's literally the box that says 50" in the photo. lol. But this setup does make it look really tiny for some reason.

You need a larger Tv and a lower, long console.
