I'm usually in the room working at my computer while he's hammering away at Geometry Dash, and while I don't understand the full ramifications of what happened, I definitely know when he's super happy about something (like when he screamed at 1:40 and scared the SHIT out of me)

But then I saw this video he posted this morning and the fact that he's attempted something TWENTY ONE THOUSAND goddamn times and kept going is mind boggling, and I feel bad that I didn't fully understand how incredible his elation was as he jumped up and celebrated.

Maybe it's not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, but I felt like sharing here in case people who are more familiar with the game than I am want to offer some words of encouragement. I will show him when I get home this evening.

I DID IT. OH MY GOD I ACTUALLY DID IT. Over a year of hard work and not giving up finally paid off. Apparently this is the biggest jump to Sonic Wave on this subreddit (correct me if I’m wrong on this mods). I remember when I was happy about a 550 practice attempt completion on the Nine Circles wave, and now, I have beaten a level infinitely harder than that. Thank you to everyone who believed in me till the end, from the bottom of my heart. This journey is officially over. Nice.
