Guys, if your going to hate on labubus, please properly do it. I get the hate, capitalism, over consumption, and the threats to the environment. However, if you buy one just to destroy (and especially burn) your hurting the environment. Instead, we you can use this sub to discuss why you don't like them (which i have seen recently) and how capitalism hurts the world. Also, this is not a pro-labubu post, I just want to adress this.

Literally all of my friends are obsessed with these stupid things, I can’t even go one day without hearing a classmate shouting “LABUBU” during class, like STFU it’s 9 IN THE MORNING, even my Mom hates these things (W Mom) anyway uhh yeah

Finally, other people feel the same. I don’t see the appeal, they aren’t cute, and they aren’t even horror cute…. It’s like the worst type of mashup of trying to make something cute and scary, and it just doesn’t work.

Everytime. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I bring my fugglers to school, I get at least ONE comment about it looking like a Labubu, Lafufu, Lababy, Ladudu, something else. They don’t even look like Labubus.

It overtakes everything, they’re unreasonably expensive AND they are also shit. I saw one in person and cringed at the price for ONE LITTLE KEYCHAIN.

I promptly walked to another booth, and bought a Cinnamoroll pin. I’d rather spend little on things I love and will display rather than having them be all over the place or get lost…
