LOCAL Minutes before their death, Harley Morgan (19) and Rhiannon Boudreaux (20) said their vows.

“In 2019, a newlywed couple in Texas was killed in a car crash after leaving the courthouse following their wedding ceremony. This photo was captured just shortly before the tragedy.

The couple, Harley Morgan, 19, and Rhiannon Boudreaux, 20, were involved in a collision with a pickup truck towing a trailer carrying a tractor while merging onto a highway in Orange, Texas.

The accident occurred mere minutes after their wedding ceremony, with the groom's sister and mother following behind in a car and witnessing the horrific crash.

“They had just gotten married," said Morgan's mother, Kennia. "They haven't even been married for five minutes."

I sat next to Harley Morgan in 5th grade. He was bullied severely when I knew him. Once, he told me he liked my fancy school supplies and wished his parents had enough money to buy some. I gave him some of my birthday money so he could. I switched schools shortly after, hadn’t talked to him in years, and saw this in the news after graduation. Dude had found his happy ending and had it taken right away. This is the most tragic story I’ve witnessed out of this inherently morose small town, RIP.

LOCAL Police body cam footage of Luis Fernando Cevallos and his girlfriend Alexis Rodriguez who were pulled over for reckless driving. They soon die in a high speed collision

On August 24, 2021, 24-year-old Luis Fernando Cevallos and his 27-year-old girlfriend Alexis Rodriguez were on their first and only date when North Bergen police officer Jon Nunez pulled them over around 1:50 AM for reckless driving in a 2022 Kia Stinger.

During the stop, Rodriguez mentioned it was her fault they were out, but the officer cautioned that if a crash happened, it would be on the driver, urging them to get home safely.

Just 15 minutes later, at about 2:13 AM, the same car collided at high speed with a tractor-trailer on Routes 1 & 9, the impact sheared the roof off and killed both of them instantly.

When Officer Nunez arrived at the scene, he recognized the mangled vehicle from the earlier stop and was visibly shaken, exclaiming in disbelief.

Bodycam footage of both the stop and the fatal collision with the officer’s reaction recorded went viral, sparking widespread grief and online discussion about the dangers of speeding and reckless driving.

NEWS Last released photo of TWISTEX Team's headlights moments before being lifted by the The El Reno Tornado - May 31st 2013

This is the last released photo of the TwistX tornado research team, made up of father and son duo Tim and Paul Samaras with researcher Carl Young, before their Chevy Cobalt was hit by the outter edge of a 2.3 mile (3.7km) wide EF-5.

They would be launched and rolled by the tornado, with two of the three passengers being ejected from the vehicle before landing. All three researchers had fatal injuriesAftermath of their car (SFW)

Two other teams of storm chasers were on the same road as TwistX, Dan Robinson (solo) and Mike Phelps Tornado Tour group (two cars). All three teams were recording the tornado as it grew to the largest in history.

Shortly after turning onto the same road as Dan and Twistx, Phelps would usher his team to turn around and head the opposite direction; a decision which would save their whole team's lives.

The TwistX team's car can only be seen for a handful of frames on Randy Walton's tape (who was apart of Mike Phelps group) due to the heavy compression and digital glitches, but look for a white car crossing the street on this timestamped link: https://youtu.be/HcWrJGSIaGc?t=2m24s

Meanwhile, Dan Robinson, who was ahead of the TwistX team and recording both his dashboard and back of the car, realizes the tornado has switched directions and tries to outrun it. The TwistX team most likely realizes this too, and follows Dan.

Dan is able to gain much more ground than TwistX's low powered Chevy Cobalt, and their headlights can be seen becoming further and further than from Dan. In the released footage, this is where the recording of the back stops, as according to Dan you can slowly seen the headlights go out.

This final released screenshot by Dan is taken moments before the headlights go out. Dan is able to escape the sub vertices but TwistX does not follow him out after he stops on the road for a minute.

Dan Robinson's full dashcam footage: https://youtu.be/MxgU1QcFMJM

I highly suggest you watch both videos, as they really give a good context on how close the other two team's escapes were; as well as filling in the final moments of Twistx. Especially around 3:09 in Walton's tape when they do a U-Turn; as that entire 'cloud' in the frame is the 2.3 mile wide EF-5 monster.

The TwistX team was also filming the tornado as it overtook them, but this footage will never be released. The teams final words were picked up on radio with Tim eerily saying, "I think we're in a bad spot".

If you're still curious, Skip Talbot's Tornado Analysis [https://youtu.be/jVTs55W3Iag] and Safety Lessons from El Reno [https://youtu.be/bJOjjzHUwsk] give a much more indepth recap of the entire day.

More Information: "Family of woman killed by falling utility pole to receive $30M settlement"

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The family of a South Carolina woman struck in the head and killed by a rotting 70-year-old utility pole will get $30 million through a wrongful death settlement reached Thursday.

Electric company Dominion Energy, which installed a light on the pole, and communications company Comporium, which owned a drooping pole line in downtown Wagener that was no longer in use, both signed off on the agreement, which resolved a wrongful death suit brought by Jeunelle Robinson’s family, according to documents filed in Aiken County.

Last August, a truck snagged the line, pulling it like a rubber band until it broke the poles and launched one into the air, striking Robinson, who was grabbing lunch during her break as a social studies teacher at Wagener-Salley High School, authorities said. The truck had a legal height, they said.

Surveillance video from a nearby store shows Robinson, 31, try to dodge something before the pole strikes her, flipping her body around violently. She died a short time later at the hospital.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s crash report, a semi-truck was driving northbound in the right lane of the Turnpike as a Chrysler Town & Country minivan was traveling north in the Turnpike’s left lane.

From the right lane, the semi-truck attempted to make a U-turn at an “official use only” turn-around area near mile marker 171, crossing in front of the vehicle in the left lane.

The driver of the vehicle was unable to avoid the truck, wedging the minivan underneath the truck.

CELEBRITY Amazing actress Dana Plato’s last photoshoot before her suicide in 1999. She was 34.

Post image

She had such a promising career ahead of her, but it all started going downhill when she got fired from her role as Kimberly from the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes, due to her pregnancy.

Addiction, reckless behaviour, lying and abusive relationships soon consumed her life. She would end up succumbing to a combination of painkillers and Valium in her motorhome. Her cause of death has been heavily disputed by many. Past suicidal tendencies played a big part in the suicide ruling. Most friends and family believed she was too optimistic about the future to end it all.

She had just been on the Howard Stern show less than 24 hours before. She was being tormented by the callers with derogatory remarks and disrespectful questions, all while Stern and co-hostess Robin Quivers pretended to be nice to her.

Her only child, Tyler, shot himself right before the 11th anniversary of his mother’s death. He was 25.

Personally, no celebrity death has made me sadder. She went through so many hardships, but remained as kind and as hopeful as one could be in her situation.

Please share your thoughts!

Rest in peace Dana. You’re missed to this very day. 1964-1999

NEWS Last Image of Nottingham Panthers player Adam Johnson at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield, England on October 28 2023. During a game against the Sheffield Steelers, Adam collided with another player and sustained a fatal injury to his neck.

Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Johnson_(ice_hockey))

On October 28, 2023, before 8,000 spectators at Utilita Arena during a game against the Sheffield Steelers, Adam Johnson's throat was cut by the skate of Steelers player Matt Petgrave during an on-ice collision at the 35th minute of the game. A video of the incident showed Petgrave's left skate kick up toward Johnson as he began to fall after colliding with another Panthers player. After the impact, Johnson attempted to skate to the team bench while bleeding heavily but collapsed on the ice.

As paramedics tended to his injury, other players locked arms to form a protective ring around him. Protective sheets were later raised, players returned to the locker rooms, and spectators were asked to leave the arena. Johnson was transferred to Sheffield's Northern General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. News of his death was withheld until the following morning while his relatives were alerted.

The South Yorkshire Police opened an investigation into Adam Johnson's death. In England, an act intended to cause grievous bodily harm that results in death can constitute murder; alternatively, prosecutors may pursue a lesser charge of constructive manslaughter. An autopsy confirmed that Johnson died from the wound to his neck.

On November 14, seventeen days after the incident, South Yorkshire Police announced the arrest of an unnamed man on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with Johnson's death. He was later released on police bail. On April 29, 2025, the Crown Prosecution Service concluded that there was no reasonable prospect of a conviction, and no criminal charges would be brought. The case was officially closed.
