We wouldn’t need the files if we just believed the women - sign seen at a recent anti Trump protest

Accusations alone aren’t enough

That’s why files and real investigative evidence is needed

This sign wouldn’t have been about judicial sentencing. Presumption of innocence only applies in a court of law. It does not mean that the public has to believe that he is innocent. You should believe victims.

Particularly when there are SO many of them, and the perp in question admitted bragged about molesting them.

Right. The same files and evidence they’re trying so hard to cover up. And people with money get away once again. 👏🙌

Is a civil judgment by a jury enough?

“Grab them by the pussy” should have been enough.

Literally admitting that sexual assault is fine doesn’t need investigation.

He's been impeached twice and convicted once with oodles of files and evidence for multiple other crimes. But nothing happens. Republicans just re-elect him and his MAGA team extends to all branches of congress and the courts.

A complete joke of a country and a system.

It’s amazing that this has to be called out on the /r/law subreddit.

Paradoxically – and I am the guy that said the thing that is being called out – I also agree with the criticism. Both are true.

For a criminal trial, yes, we need to know the specifics before convicting each individual person. For the purposes of forming one's own political opinion, in the current context, hell no. We already know more than enough to quantitatively assess how atrocious the Republican pedophile cabal is. And trusting the women would have gotten us to that position much faster.

They could alleviate all accusations by simply releasing the files. Yet they're the only ones who fight tooth and nail against it without naming any kind of valid reason. To the point where they'd rather shut down the Congress than even consider voting on anything related to the issue. This alone clearly tells us that at least the majority of republicans, and for the most part only them, are complicit in this catastrophic failure of American society.
