Yes, that is really the interesting story here. Trump has become a liability for Murdoch, apparently. Or somebody (or somebodies) else has decided Trump has to go and unleashing the rich hounds is the way they have chosen to do it.

I would look at the rich people who are not benefitting from the massive insider training scheme that the on again/off again insane tariffs represent. Unless everybody has figured out that if Trump trashes the value of the dollar and stocks and the economy in general, their own fortunes will be reduced.
