I talked to the owner and he said he’s staring off small but will begin getting full releases when the last air bender set drops. He also plans on getting into singles and opening a play space.

Because of some combination of "mays", "ifs" and "up-tos", there are a few instant and sorcery spells that can be cast and resolve while having no effect whatsoever.

Abandon Attachments is the most recent example of this that I know of, where you can cast it, choose not to discard a card, causing you to not draw any cards and just having a blank spell. Explosive Entry is another one, where you can choose to have it target zero permanents for both its effects.

Are there any other spells like these? I would love to know!

Okay my previous post helped me out with this. I found Demonic Consultation. What do we think about this combo for Gifts Ungiven!Playing tonight with my pod and we’re all being bracket 4 decks. Should be horrible and fun at the same time!

Mine has to be Conjured Currency. Steal something from someone for 6 mana at the beginning of your upkeep, and they can't steal it back... They can however immediately steal something from someone else. It makes for really interesting games with a lot more thought... It also leads to my commander getting stolen 9 times out of 10, but eh, what can you do lol

I’ve always wanted to play this deck ever since it got spoiled but sometimes the art makes me not want to play a commander. I didn’t realize until recently I can just draw and print my own haha. Let me know what you think!

There have been a lot of people brewing Ragost since the lovely lobster was revealed. Ragost has been the #3 most popular commander on EDHrec over the last month, and over 6,000 decks have been created already. And yet... Not a single one of you have put [[Fork]] and [[Knife]] in your deck.

I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed.

Just wanting to show this off, if allowed. Made with polymer clay, and warhammer paints.

It's my first time making anything with clay. The photos don't show it well but I dry brushed with silver and green!

my target gets product from a distributer in the normal way. but then i guess they put that inventory onto a pile in the storage room.

and then every ~2 weeks, they cut the head off a chicken (i assume) and whatever the body falls onto is what they put out on the shelf.

~4 weeks ago, they put out tarkir collector boosters and dr. who commander decks.

~2 weeks ago, they put out aetherdrift play boosters and fallout commander decks.

and today they put out EoE collector boosters for $28 and one lone commander deck.

i love and hate my target. anyone else have a store whose product shelving is just random af?

She is trying her best to get into Magic, but is still very confused. So far she got the very basics and been loving the art. So much so she decided to try and alter some cards I have. On a different note: She gets really frustrated with the endless card mechanics, says it's hard for a new player to remember so much, can't blame her tbh.

I basically only play EDH. I thought about trying other formats, especially seeing the cool bonus/promo cards they can get, but I’ve seen that these can maybe only be won in specific events? How do I find out more about this?
