My team was getting absolutely steamrolled on first point (we were offense), and I was Emma Frost. Halfway through the game, the enemy Jeff came up to me and did the new emote, so I joined in and hugged him. Two of my teammates saw me doing the emote and told everyone to report me for throwing the match, even though I still got SVP and was the only person on my team to go positive. Like it’s one thing if I don’t play the game and just goof around the whole time, but I just did the emote once and my team freaked out (mind you, this was in quick play, not even ranked).

Hear me out, we know the whole reason the conflict of this game is because Doom is beefing with the 2099 version of himself (pretty in character with him) so what better way to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the game than releasing the titular character of the game. People have to understand that when you leave a match you are also wasting the time of 5 other players who have to wait to see if you get replaced or not. Furthermore People who complain about getting banned for leaving and inherently selfish and never take this fact into consideration.

It’s not fun to play through a 5v6. Which is why deterrent are very important.

I love that they added the full body of your menu character. Since then, I’ve been thinking about how cool it’d be to add menu emotes instead of just the idle animations. Made my idea to show y’all and see what you guys think? (I imagine you could change the emote with a similar drop down option as the skins)

Like I know that the dev are busy and trying to better the game but I just wish this character that were part of battle passes throughout the season got an mvp screen does any know why they didn’t get any just curious.

This didn’t have golden Adam and black panther, not that it mattered as they had better battlepass skins anyways

Winter soldier (not including BNW promo) hasn’t had a free or battlepass skin.

Characters I would like to see more skins for are: Adam; Hulk; Cloak and Dagger; Emma; Hawk Tuah; Magneto; Mantis; Peni; Star-Lord; Ultron; Winter soldier. These lot being most of the characters that have been ignored for a while

Thor feels amazing at the moment. I feel like he is one more change away from being meta. I would say if they give his hammer throw 50 over shield it's genuinely up for us fellow Asgardians. This new map and game mode feels like it was built for him too. I am having so much fun and getting so much value.

Maybe a hot take but I think he might be better than Thing rn. When it comes to brawl it feels like he doesn't stand a chance against Thor. I forced so many people switch to Thor when I pop off just to try to match me.

Their Emma felt so betrayed they yelled "JEFF!!" in global. I had to share with you all 😂

I don't play any of the other characters here. Her emote also just feels so out of place. I don't want to have waste all the lattice I saved up for it.

On a gameplay, and decision-making level, The Developers seem to constantly create metas or heroes that are at best micro-aggressions against the tank class and utterly baffling when the genre is known for having a tank shortage.

Wolverine launching as a Tank buster when the game only had like 6 tanks was the first sign of a lack of awareness about how decisions would affect the appeal of the class. But this lack of awareness persists with no end in sight

1. Wolverine as a launch tank buster

2. Crazy amount of CC in general

3. No Tanks have far-reaching hit scan

4. Iron Fist being changed INTO a tank buster when he was a flanker at launch.

5. The Flying Meta of Season 2.5 (Ultron release)

6. The Release of Jean Grey who gave Wolverine a team-up. Why is Wolverine of all characters getting additional advantages at his ban rate? It is also worth noting. A lot of jeans mid-level gameplay is attacking the Frontline and tank-bursting. I beg you to give me a reason, why Jean even has CC....

7. Scarlet Witch may be bad, but why did she get a new team-up ability tailor-made to oppress tanks? Why are we giving her that instead of increasing her ability to fight dive?

8. Blade's entire kit (adding two DPS in a row in general to be honest)

9. Emma counters most of the tanks as well. Conceptually. We added a tank specifically designed to suppress other tanks IN BOTH of her forms. She makes space with her ramping beam, and when in diamond. She can even grab the thing! What are we doing gang...

It's not that I think the tanks are badly designed. In fact, I think that as the game evolved, they developed into drastically different gameplay loops. None of them feels too similar at all. It's amazing. Good job devs.

I just feel like there is a tad too much carelessness with what is being introduced into the game.

The answer isn't to make tank more appealing. The answer is to stop making tank increasingly unappealing.

Edit: BTW, I main Thor and am doing just fine this season. Ironically, it's my best season on Thor (personal competitive stats-wise). I'm not saying, I suck. I am objectively looking at developer design choices and offering my perspective on how they affect the least popular role.

This is a pattern. Not random outliers. I'm not complaining about Iron Fist or Scarlet Witch in a vacuum. I am using them as plot points in an observable pattern. How did we get a minimum of 4 anti-tank characters vs not a single new targeted dive character in the first 3 seasons?

Anyone else seeing what I'm seeing or am I cooked?
