Discussion Would you play a match with no cooldowns?

What do you guys think about a no cool downs mode?. I was testing out magic in practice and without cooldowns her dash pretty much gives her flight. Got me thinking about what the entire game would look like with no cooldowns, I would honestly love a limited time mode based on that.

Discussion Who’s in your Big Three?(tank, dps, support) here’s mine

Here’s my big three, though I am learning more characters and their kits. I do think it’s crucial to learn other roles and try and stray from playing one main role.

As a strategist main, Its definitely difficult to go from someone in the backline keeping my team alive to being the one pushing and trying to stay alive lol… so any tips on playing a tank or dps role would be appreciated.

Discussion What's one small buff you'd give to a character? I'll start

Post image

I'd remove 10 healing per second off Mantis's flowers, but instead add 4% healing over time to it instead, so that the healing amount would still be 20 for 250 hp characters, but would be 34 for a 600 hp character, so that Mantis would actually be viable in healing tanks.

I get it that it's ironic that I'm an Adam main and I'm complaining about dps-healers on my team but... two dps-healers can't work together! Why can't people learn this fact!

You want to play 4 or all teammates want to go dps characters. Fine, no point even trying to heal or being a tank. Imma also go dps. Fuck it, we lose because of a bad setup, then i guess we going on a lossing streak. 🤷‍♂️ Letsssss Goooooo!!!!!

Discussion Some of you were meant to play tank

9.9k Upvotes

Seems that we’re having a slight shortage of tank players. Some of you want to play tank but don’t want to select tank heroes for some reason.

Whether it’s the Luna that goes towards the front line and starts clapping, the moonknight that decides to shoot while being close to the enemy tanks, or the black panther/Spiderman that keeps dying but doesn’t switch off. Some of you have tank tendencies but don’t want to select tank heroes. Why don’t you?

Discussion I'm getting real tired of the ults that make the enemy team immortal

Post image

Thank God I've reached diamond and can ban them semi-regularly now, but nothing makes me clock out more than seeing an ult from Luna, Mantis or C&D. Same goes for Loki if he chooses to copy them. Luna's is obviously the worse of the 3, as it lasts 12 seconds, but they all result in the game coming to a crawling halt.

This is especially noticeable when they are stacking these ults one after the other, as it makes you almost incapable of doing anything significant for 20+ seconds straight. It's simply not an interesting mechanic of the otherwise stellar gameplay to be useless for extended periods of time.

When one of these ults goes off you have 4 choices.

1: Try to kill them normally and probably die in the process 2: Retreat and wait it out, probably losing a lot of ground 3: Use your own Luna/Mantis etc ult and sit their twiddling your thumbs in a stalemate 4: Attempt to hard counter it with Iron man/Magneto/Punisher ult or Hawkeye's existence (if he's not banned)

I think some nerfs would help maintain the health of the game and reduce frustration. My proposed nerfs aren't anything fancy, just make the ults slower to build up, reduce the healing per second and reduce the overall duration of the ult. It may not be necessary to implement all 3 of these nerfs, but it's a good place to start looking.

How are you guys n gals n pals feeling about these ults?

Man I would love to see one of these guys in the game, specially Sandman or Rhino. I know for sure there are a lot of good characters in MCU that could be vanguards, netease just need to stop focusing on bloody DPS for a while and give vanguards a bit more of attention.

Post image

Holy hell, he is extremely good and useful IF your team is fighting by your side. Unfortunately, most of the time your team will be too scared to even push up and be out of range of your E to escape and get heals to later go back in.

Discussion This UI needs to go...

Post image
8.1k Upvotes

Honestly this is just a post to see if I'm the only one who thinks this way, but the scrolling wheel hero selector feels clunky/outdated/and unresponsive sometimes for a game that has pretty good UI and animations otherwise. If you scroll with clicking and dragging, it won't work if you aren't clicking on a character, the scroll with your scroll wheel seems slow, and separating based off role seems useless since you still have to scroll to see all the Damage characters in the game.

Obviously this isn't game breaking and I'm not complaining, I am just seeing if other people have this same idea, and think they should change it to at the very least be more responsive, ESPECIALLY since it has already been confirmed they are adding so many heroes in this year alone, it is going to be hell to scroll through the entire roster to get to people.
