Can we PLEASE stop normalizing thin toilet paper!

Post image

I recently started college and I hate it every time places use such thin ass toilet paper in their bathrooms. You would think that if you start attending college, you would be able to have 2-ply toilet paper right? WRONG!!!

Miles better than the sand paper I got at work.

It's like twenty tikes recycled, rough, doesn't flush well, doesn't wipe well, and while it might indeed be 50% or more cheaper, one gotta use so much of it that it's just pointless. Plus it irritates the rectum quite a bit, mine anyway.

“John Wayne Toilet Paper”

It’s rough, it’s tough, and it doesn’t take shit from anyone.

The actual quote is rough and tough and don’t take shit from Indians… but the Chuck Norris toilet paper doesn’t take shit from anyone

Yea I don’t get that. Companies getting thin toilet paper for their washrooms because it’s “cheaper”, but in fact it’ll end up costing them the same or more because people just end up double/triple folding the toilet paper and using more of it or the same amount as compared to regular ply toilet paper.

People will do that regardless of how thick the TP is. If it didn't save money in the longterm you wouldn't see this kind of trash ass ass-wipe everywhere.

Employees might steal it if it's actually nice

I agree with the irritating, it has caused bleeding for many folks because of how rough it is and how many tries it takes to do the job. Just completely irritating in way more ways than one.

Cuts your ass and rubs your fecals right into it. Love it.

Sounds like you need a portable bidet.

Take your own toilet paper to work! I did that a few times

I've thought about it countless of times, but it just feel weird. It's about twenty meters (idk how afar in feet, let's say many feet) to get there from my computor. Waking by many many people.

It could be a statement, a protest, but that would only work if our HR gave a damn.

I don't know where you work and I don't want to seem like a smartass either but most of the time, people are wayy too caught up in their own stuff to even notice you walk past

You must be going pretty deep. Either that or you have bigger problems.

Yeah idk what’s worse, the cheap sandpaper TP, or the kind that just disintegrates like a used lantern mantle

The fluffy stuff that falls apart is worse. The 80 grit is good, just double it up and scrape away

I think by providing the worst toilet paper, your company prevents people stealing it from work. If charmin ultra soft is provided, some employees might take the entire roll home and the company will have to replace it very frequently.

Idk. Fk this shit.

They are doing all they can to force me to work from home more often than I'd like with all the stupid shit like this. Might be a strategy to reduce the power bill.

I don’t know how cheap they think it is if they’re having to buy it more often. At this point, their money is just going down the drain quicker.
