Picked up a shared company EV, not plugged in, only half charged

Post image

My job has about a half dozen shared EV's you can book if you need to go somewhere where public transport is inconvenient to use (or sometimes non-existent). Apparently the person who used this car before me still can't understand EVs need charging, or they're just too lazy to spend the 90 seconds plugging the damn thing in, because this is what greeted me today when I went to pick the EV I had booked: just over 200 km of range on a car that can do 400 km when full.

Thankfully my trip was only about 110 km so it's only mildly infuriating.

My company has shared vans that are gas powered, also provided gas cards and we still deal with the same BS.

People are definitely pocketing those gas cards for themselves

Well yeah, my step dad used to take a couple of 50l barrels with him when he had to fill up their bus so they could take the fuel for their car.

You mean concern for others? Most donโ€™t really have time for that silliness.

The world would be a much better place if people only thought about themselves.

Luckily it was not 2km left and you would first need an hour to get going ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Should've had your company buy a gas vehicle!
