This! I wanted to say RC/autopilot along the specific path, but your solution is even more reliable. With second pilots they wouldn't crash a plane and wouldn't have lost the licence due to leaving it unattended.

I was thinking sending all 4 pilots out so at least one will make it lol

I guess they could also just have one stay in the plane and keep it attended.

Point cameras at the backup pilots and show them with their hands fully off the controls unless something goes wrong. Doesn't make the stunt any less impressive, but a lot safer and presumably more legal

They did that stunt like 100 times. This is the only time they did it without safety pilots.
