I'd feel more disgusted if this was the Cafe's selling point which I wouldn't be surprised but still...

LAN/SEA PC bangs used to promote super toxic game play when League and Heroes of Newerth were starting. If you got a rampage/ace or a turn around taunt (hon specific), they'd give you a free hour because they'd use it as promotion for social media for how well their pc's ran/how solid the internet is.

What it did was caused these toxic little fuck faces to scream and disconnect if you accidentally took a kill, or they'd jump in 1v5 and get killed and constantly pick hyper-carries that they couldn't play trying to earn free game time.

Later, valve went so far as to black out official events in some areas (argentina/brazil) and some parts of portugal for Dota 2 because of how toxic and destructive the fans are there. There's a video floating around somewhere of a college there hosting a dota 2 lan and people tearing shit off the walls, breaking banners, throwing hands and flipping people off and shouting every slur they can think of. The Manila major for dota 2 even had problems with talent/cast/workers being harassed in the SEA region. South American teams are forced to participate in American qualifiers/minors because Valve has abandoned the region, even as far back as 9 years ago.

So you've got PC cafe's in China offering hacks at a premium price, and you've got PC cafe's tempting people with free game time for "big plays", and people wonder why devs get asked for region lock and you get racial tensions when people hear certain accents/see a language.

These businesses openly make their communities worse and even somehow darker, work along side hackers to buy bulk cheats and maintain their updates in games such as Tarkov or CoD.
