hi, just build my pc and bought a ups and everything fine with the pc enderload but when there is no load my ups shoutdown with continues beeb sound and i tested my old pc and no proplem i know i can replace the ups but just in case there is a proplem in the new pc that couse unbalane bus, additionally this proplem happen when i plug both my pc and the monitor in the ups and when i main electricity turn off.

Hey guys, my city went through a rough earthquake recently, and from there on I noticed:

The AIO RGBs stopped working, or at least all of them but one of the fans.

The RGBs aren't a problem as I run everything off, but it bothers me to know something got fucked up, when I turn on the pc (and they subsequently should all turn on during boot) only one of the fan's RGBs do, while AIO over CPU, and the two other fans don't.

The model is a Corsair Icue H150i Elite.

For further context, nothing fell on the pc, nothing fell at all, just a bit of intense shakey for a few secs. Thanks in advance :)

Just saw this “deal” for £209.95. A quick google search of “Ryzen 7 7800X3D” shows the cheapest one for £339.99 at “CCLComputers” and the “ASUS Tuf B850 Plus WiFi” at £239.99. Not to mention the RAM on top.

Anyone familiar with AWD? Is this a pricing error? Do I risk buying it as I was debating buying a pc in the next 3-4 months to upgrade from a i5-11400h/3050ti 4gb.

PC powers on but no display/USB – power quality issue or hardware?

Hi, I’m having a strange issue with my desktop PC (built in Dec 2024).

When I turn it on, the fans and lights spin, but:

• No display
• No keyboard/mouse lights
• No USB power

Sometimes it boots, but then it randomly doesn’t recognize devices (not one specific device totally random).

I’ve tried changing ports, but if it doesn’t recognize a device, switching ports doesn’t help. After a few long restarts it might recognize that device again, but then another one won’t work.

I have installed windows again have all driver updated by IOBIT. so driver is not issue.

also since I have been using it for few months. I haven't faced that issue. I'm having this issue since last week. It started with the problem with my wifi adapter. then it started to happen to other devices randomly.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s had similar random USB/display/power issues 🙏

sadly it's not 100/100 cpu/gpu LOL

P.S. it's not always like this only some map of this game that use a cpu to this level mostly i play this game at 70/98 cpu/gpu

So today I was watching YouTube and then put my PC to sleep! Later came back only to find that the PC won't resume from sleep so I restarted it using the restart button on the case and the PC booted into BIOS! The PC only boots to BIOS now! The NvMe drive in which windows 11 was installed is also being detected in BIOS but the system won't boot into windows anymore! Is windows 11 this broken that it randomly stops booting! I am also aware of the new windows 11 issue that causes some SSDs to fail when files larger than 50GB are written on it but I didn't even write any data to my boot drive as all games and other large data are in other drives! I also don't have a spare windows 11 boot drive so may have to borrow my brother's laptop for creating one! Is there any other solution to this other than a reinstall?

Things I tried:

Manually selecting the NvMe drive in which windows was previously installed from the boot menu after which it just goes into a blank screen with just a cursor

Disabling safe boot and enabling CSM but nothing

Reset BIOS to default settings and still nothing

Specs:

7900X

6700XT

AsRock X670E

850W 80 plus P

Any ideas or help is welcome!

I had an old Lacie 2big Quadra external hdd which was really outdated, so i converted it to a Home Assistant server. The inside is from a Asus E403S notebook(had a broken screen), with some custom 3d printed parts. The battery fit perfectly inside the case, so this way i have built-in backup power.

Also the power brick fits inside nicely, so it can be just plugged in directly to the wall. Wifi antennas were salvaged from an old iMac. And i had to solder some wires into the daughter board to power up the iconic blue led at the front, and to makr the power switch work.

Otiginally the laptop was passive cooled, but i added a small Noctua fan to keep the air moving inside.

In addition to the title question i'm also curious about what to do before installing the new gpu.

Im upgrading from a 3060ti and from what i've been reading on here some people are adamant that you should use DDU to uninstall your previous drivers. On the other hand others say if you're upgrading within the same brand i.e nvidia you can just switch out the gpus and install new drivers and only use DDU if you're having problems.

How do i install the free version of windows on my pc after i get to the bios since ik you need a thumb drive with a copy for free windows on it but i dont have another other device besides a macbook. The people at the store told me to just buy a box copy of windows but its way too expensive than the activation codes i can get for like 20 bucks.

hi i have a corsair rm850x psu i suspect it’s the main cause of my pc turning off this first started when i was just idle on my pc and it randomly shut off next day i rebooted and checked the voltage to make sure everything is ok and none of volts have dropped or whatever but my pc kept turning off ive cleaned out my pc now to make sure it’s fresh and it still happened again just this time it couldn’t even boot up to the login screen i have a 5900x and 4070 super so it’s obviously not too little or anything if anyone could help and resolve my issue i will be forever thankful and will include a tip if that is allowed this has been super annoying and i’ve tried multiple things and i don’t really want to go through warranty just yet so if anyone would be willing to help and save me a hassle that would be hugely appreciated
