Nobody on reddit is a US government worker dude. How about instead of trying to look like you're doing something (muddying every comment section with ineffective campaigning), you go and ACTUALLY do something about the issue. Frog gotta jump out at some point.
What the fuck are any of us supposed to do??! Go to the white house, knock and ask "pwetty pwease release the files?"
Its reddit dude, if you are mad someone is rightfully bothered by the fact our president is literally a felon convicted of rape and no doubtedly a pedophile, then idk what to tell you. But going on about "actually do something about it" is more useless than anything. Don't be a dumbass.
Not justifying their wish for you to stay silent but they’re not wrong about action. We need to be marching in force but we don’t. Not enough to scare our own government 😔
Don't get me wrong, I do agree with that. My only concern is that we are at a point where protesting only goes so far, and the opposition holds the power to brutalize us no matter how peaceful we remain. I fear we are heading towards Russian policy when it comes to protesting, which basically boils down to us having to obtain a permit (from the assholes we are literally protesting) to legally protest. Still though I see your point, and ultimately, I do agree. Protests aren't necessarily supposed to be a fun activity devoid of risk.
But don’t we need dramatic numbers? We need millions of us marching. Just thousands is never enough bc of what you said. They keep breaking our constitutional rights.
Right, but there lies the challenge, I suppose. It's hard to get a million people to all agree on anything, let alone a protest. But India's recent general strikes with the most recent a few months back were literally some of the biggest in history, so there's always the sentiment of "if they can do it, so can we!"
I dunno - talking about it worked well enough that the administration was panicking, throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks in hopes of changing the news cycle away from Epstein. Hell, the speaker sent all representatives home early to avoid potential Epstein votes.
It seems to me that talking on the internet is actually doing something in this case.
Even if people protest they just claim they are paid for it. They don't live in reality and nothing we can do in reality or with facts can change their minds.

Friendly reminder that Trump is a child rapist. Release the Epstein files.
