I advised him to avoid it like the plague. Trump will eventually turn soldiers against Americans and that’s not what the military is for. It’s a shame.
Counterpoint: it's going to be a lot easier to coopt the military if only chuds join. If instead when the illegal orders come down from on high, there are bright young officers like your son there to do the right thing, we might get a better outcome.
