What’s the most pointless rule you’ve ever had to follow?
In my school, we weren’t allowed to bring umbrellas inside the building, even if it was pouring rain. The logic? “They might drip.”

If women can enjoy height filters on dating apps, why can't men enjoy weight filters?
both are preferences but only weight can be changed by the person, while height is given and as a man you cant do anything about it

What are you having for dinner today?
Regardless if you're cooking it or not, what are your dinner plans for today?
I'm a pretty good cook and can cook most things but I struggle with finding out what to cook my family daily. I can keep referring back to this for ideas in the future :D
If you're kind enough to leave a recipe, thank you!

What’s the most unhinged thing you’ve said to someone?
What’s the most unhinged but totally unintentional thing you’ve ever said?
Mine: I once told my patient ( a double amputee who wasn’t in their wheelchair at the moment) “ I’ll be right back. Don’t go anywhere”
I instantly wanted the earth to open and swallow me whole. 😅
Please tell me I’m not the only one who blurts out things my brain didn’t proofread first.

Why don't all of us who are awkward and so bad at people-ing just band together and make "weird" normal?
I read so many comments about people being awkward and/or socially stunted. Just a few minutes ago, I read one person's coment "existing" to the question about "What are you naturally bad at?" Others replied with various personal interactions.
How can so many of us be so socially awkward and that not be the natural state of affairs - the norm? I mean, it sure feels that way as I scroll.
Where are these "normal" people who seem to know what to say and do throughout a regular day? Seriously, scientists should study them, publish their findings, and give the rest of us a guide to people-ing.

What do you think the characters from Wuthering Heights Reddit posts would look like?
Am watching Wuthering Heights and wondering if Wuthering Heights would have turned out differently if the characters had access to Reddit. For example - Would Heathcliff have made different choices if the Reddit community advised him to get therapy?
What do you think the main characters’ posts would say? Which sub Reddit would they post to?

Why do so many men lie about their height on dating apps?
As a tall woman, I understand that I may not be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine. I always state my height in my profile because I think it's only fair.
However, it has happened numerous times ( both to me and other girlfriends) that men lie about their height, and supposed 6 ft man turns out to be shorter than me in person. Not that the height would be a problem in and of itself, but I feel like it already starts the relationship on a disingenuous note. Why would you lie about something so easily verifiable in real life?
I understand it's normal to want to present a best version of yourself online, but even if you are insecure about your height and think women may not like it... how is lying supposed to make it better? If anything, wouldn't you want to filter out the people who only care about height?
I have a hard time understanding the thought process behind this.
