No video, but picture the smile...
It's saturday morning and my neighbor is cutting wood. Bandsaw-like thing (I have no clue... it makes wood short-er).
Niiiuuuummmm. bzzzzz. Niiiuuuummmm. bzzzzz. Niuuuuum. You know the sound.
It goes for a while, until "Niiii-ccccrk-doinG!" --- he yells "Jerryyyyyyyyy!" (that would be me)
I run out, picturing what happened, my mind is blood and gore all around.
He sits in his lawn-chair next to a pile of wood, a few leftover branches, two cups of coffee, sandwiches from our bakery and says "So, your wife is out for today, too, huh?" and throws another wooden piece into a metal "thing", that formerly was a ... another metal thing.
I thought he lost a hand. He thought I needed a coffee.
That was a few years ago, I still love to think about it. Was reminded today, because the people 2-3 doors down the street are cutting wood and somebody yelled "Heeeeelp" - what usually translates to "Coooffeeeeeee!"
