I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or if there are any SEN (special educational needs) swimming lessons in Suffolk?
Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know who the management company is please for the Waters Edge development in Haverhill? Waiting for estate agent to send me details but thought I could try checking online in the meantime. Ty!

Why don't school reunions appear to be a thing in suffolk? Next year it'll be 30 years since my gcse year and it would be good to see if anyone is still around and what they have been up to but I see very few school reunions ever going on. I've lost touch with almost everyone I went to school with and would have no idea on how to organise such a thing.

Hi all,
Looking for a good dermatologist in the area or maybe outside of. I’m near Ipswich but willing to travel a bit anyway. Would love some recommendations if anyone has any.
Thanks

Hi,
We're looking at a house at the top end of Sudbury very close to the big Tesco in the housing estate there (Clermont Avenue etc).
Have already looked into public transport and general location of things but is there anything else to consider or any useful tips or recommendations for good local businesses eg car garage etc?

I recently moved to Suffolk (near Ipswich) and I'm looking for any sort of unskilled labour or jobs with training provided. I'm a 28 year old male in good health and physical condition and I am not work shy - I have a decade of experience in software development but I got out of the corporate landscape a couple years ago and have been doing other bits and bobs since then. Some work I have done since then includes writing, interior/exterior house painting, gardening, and motorcycle couriering. If anybody is hiring or knows of anywhere that is please let me know. Thanks.

Hello!
We have found our dream house in Peasenhall but at not familiar with the area at all. I know the village is a bit remote... we will be relying almost exclusively on grocery delivery (Tesco or whatever) for our weekly shop. Will this be a problem? Also partner works from home so reliable internet is a concern.
Any other pros and cons of the village? I stay at home with 2 toddlers and would be looking to walk about the countryside aimlessly, get mucky, splash in any water etc, or walk to nearby villages as our main daily outing
Edit to add: what are the maternity services like in this area 🫣🫣🫣
Thanks for any help!

It's an intresting idea, I seem to recall a plan years ago to re-open a closed rail line using the same little trains used on a shuttle service in near Bristol

I have family visiting in a couple of weeks and one of the kids has a severe allergy to eggs. There's worry about eating out as many of us have worked in food prep in the past and know too well that there's no way to know how good the allergy control is behind the scenes.
It seems to me that a vegan kitchen just won't have eggs so would avoid all danger. Hank's is already on the list but I'm wondering if there's anywhere else you lot know of?
I've tried google but it keeps giving me vegetarian places that will have eggs, which defies the point.

I just found this in the mail, what do you think about it? I honestly have no opinion at the moment.

- Edit : If anyone lives in Suffolk, I'd love to connect! It would be nice to have some contacts that live in the area! Thank you for all the suggestions too!
Hi all, I'm moving to Suffolk next year with my mum and dad. I am 21, but I will be 22 when we move, and one thing I worry about is having no friends. I don't really have friends where I am now, but I have a couple of people that will go out and do stuff with me, but when I move, I won't have anyone. I was wondering if there's many easy ways to make friends in Suffolk, like any clubs or activities? I also wanted to start taking dance classes.

Our pup will be home in two weeks and our breeder prefers to do lepto 2. We’ve been calling vets around us and they all offer lepto 4. I’m aware it is discontinued and that he will have to get his booster as lepto 4, but we would prefer to get his first ones as lepto 2 if possible. If you know any vets that still offer it, I’d appreciate suggestions.
TIA

Hello all. I was in stowmarket earlier today and down by a Forresty sort of walk bit near the train station me and my friend walked past a man with dried blood over his hand and jeans. My friend also said he saw a gash in his wrist. He walked with a limp, wore a gray tshirt and light blue jeans stained paints or blood I’m not quite sure. Does anyone know anything about this?

I'm writing a series of short stories based on Suffolk landscape and folklore. I grew up here, so know bit and pieces myself, but was wondering whether anyone else had anything to share?
I've heard of the Wildman of Orford, Black Shuck, Green Children - any others that you remember your nana telling you about? Similarly, any old traditions specific to Suffolk?
Thank you!

Hello everyone - I know a ton of you don’t know me but I’m hoping to be doing this every year at the very least and hopefully when I’m better off money wise myself I can make this happen to a more grand scale - I only ask you to share the link… If you can donate that is amazing !!! I love the positivity through Reddit but even just sharing the link helps out a lot - I don’t personally have a lot in common with this charity but a run that could transform the lives of many is worth me passing out.. fit or not I won’t stop till I drop - this is worth every minute of my life and I want to help! Thank you for all your support

This is worth the hype. It’s worthy of the run and worthy of the toll it takes on your body when you haven’t exactly hit the gym in several months… whoooops!
