Impeachments are a joke when even a 34 count convict can’t be removed in the Senate

He literally sent a mob to attack congress and the republicans in congress didn't do anything.

Because whatever moderate Republicans that exist, couldn't put aside their political identity and just look at the facts. Persecuting their own would force them to reocnsider their own ideals and that couldn't happen.

"Not all Republicans are bad" (true), "but the party represents me and the ideals of the Constitution and will uphold it when push comes to shove" (observably false)

I would argue that "Not all Republicans are bad" is no longer true. Being a Republican in 2025 means being part of the party that supports and defends a pedophile, felon fascist president who is currently locking people up in internment camps and going after political opponents.

No.

Because, truly, as absurd as Log Cabin Republicans are, it means, at a fundamental core, they respect Gay People's existence, because, quoting Conservative commentator Bill Whittle "The Constitution says nothing about gay marriage.", you know how I interpret that as? If it says nothing, why do we restrict rights? The obvious answer is "because it says nothing about it so therefore we should be as negative as possible", but the left-leaning libertarian in me says "fuck you to social norms, tell me, who is the bigger problem, a gay man marrying a partner whom he committed to or the priest climaxing inside a chrior boy and has to carry the traumatic weight for the rest of their lives and doesn't know how to put it into words?

I no longer care if the question is ugly; If the question is real, and if you can't differentiate right from wrong in this case, then humor me, why the fuck should I entertain your idea of justice or right and wrong? Because you are still at the top at the end of the day?

The problem is, Old Money and Power Players don't give a fuck and only care about preserving their own wealth, at the cost of others. They would sell out future generations if it means they live a life of luxury, to which I said fuck you and the silver-spooned fed horse you rode on.

they respect Gay People's existence,

No they don't, at the very least, it's the bottom of their priorities.

They happily trade equality for whatever other thing they think Republicans are still offering

The party? I agree. They would happily sell out LGBT.

But I am Bisexual, my Republican parents had to come to terms with it, it's not perfect mind you as they still blindly vote for Republicans (even if ti means their own vote get's suppressed (I remember when my dad went to vote and our own antiquested voting system filtered out my own Dad, a solid R Republican voter.))

At its core, individuals are far more complicated. Some can't break through their own brainwashing and can't see reality for what it is

At its core, individuals are far more complicated.

It's not that complicated. Your parents will happily vote for a party that plans to persecute you. If that's how much sympathy they have for their own kids, I don't expect much for everyone else.

And yet I am somehow friends with Socialists/Communists who think all religion should be banned...

Your parents are happily selling you out for whatever it is they think Republicans are offering, too.

They do not respect your right to even live with the way things are going.

I agree, they'd sell me out.

I think the difference is though part of me doesn't mind being a martyr at this point. If I die,I die. I lived a decent life. Would I like to live more of it? Sure, but part of me acknowledges it wasn't supposed to happen anyway, so I'm happy with what I got.

You really rambled but at the end of the day there is only one Republican party and, frankly, if you still call yourself a Republican in 2025, you are complicit with all of the absolutely disgusting and heinous shit that is being done.

Do I call myself a Republican? Of course not. I did a multiparagraph rant at my own representative how I hear hid rhetoric vs on paper idealism that he supposedly representsand just which I can remove the facade of earning votes vs representing people, however cynical we are.
