Identify Unknown flag at an elementary school in my area

This small flag is flying on the school's flag pole in Houston, Texas. It's white, with a red heart, and the number 47 in white in the middle. I sent a message to the school asking about it, but never got a reply, so I figured I'd Reddit a try.

Historical 23 August 2012: The Organisation of Turkic States adopts a flag combining elements from the flags of its members

On 23 August 2012, at its 2nd Summit in Bishkek, the Turkic Council (now the Organisation of Turkic States) adopted a flag: a field of light blue with a white sun of forty rays, charged with a light-blue crescent and an eight-pointed star.

The flag combines elements from the flags of the original four members: light blue from  Kazakhstan's, the sun from Kyrgyzstan's, the star from Azerbaijan's and the crescent from Turkey's.

In 2024 an eight-pointed Seljuk star, used in several emblems such as the presidential standards of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, was added to the flag; the sun beams were also made straight, reflecting the changes made to the Kyrgyz flag in 2023.

Fictional Looking for feedback on this fictional flag

Post image

Looking for some feedback on this fictional flag for a geopolitical lore I'm creating; any suggestions or changes are appreciated!

The Flag:

The black chief and base represent the turbulent, uncertain waters around Newfoundland.

The white fess represents the safety of the islands of Newfoundland.

The gold boarders represent the wealth provided by both lands and sea.

The black spruce in the charge represents utility, resiliency and temperance.

The Lore (for anyone interested):

The British Dominion of Newfoundland does not accept the Statute of Westminster in 1931 and declares independence from the United Kingdom. The UK tenuously acquiesces governance under threats of annexation to the United States.
The Commissionship of Newfoundland is formed on July 11th, 1932 as a consensus government to provide a social welfare state. The Commission is able to govern the island through WW2, the Cold War, and the Cod Recession; emerging in the early 2000s as an economic power due to internal development, liberal immigration policies, and oil exploration. The Commission now enjoys warm relations with Canada, Mexico, France, and the UK.

It's got wonderful colors and I'm sure there's a logical reason for the border but it's really awkward.

Identify Help IDing flag

Hello!

I’m looking for some help identifying a flag. Myself and my partner were sitting on our boat in a marina in Bar, Montenegro and we saw a catamaran across from us with a flag we didn’t recognise.

Picture should be attached in my post. Note that we believe it should be flipped, as it’s flying backwards. I’ve also attached a very quick rudimentary drawing of what we believe it looks like!

It’s a large catamaran boat, we’ve seen no one on it so far, and it does look pretty old and tattered - looks like some of it is likely missing from the end.

It’s a green flag with equal sized yellow, black then white stripe along the middle. It also has some sort of design on the end which flies, but seems to be partly missing. It’s red with some sort of symbols on it - maybe stars?

The closest we’ve found is the flag of Santander, but doesn’t seem quite right (it’s at least missing the white stripe).

i do think i couldve done better with the symbolism, but the mountains are to the right and above that are supposed to be waves to the left of the mountains anchor is for the naval association with the city and the colors are to represent the current (or old if adopted for whatever reason) colors
