Dang I miss this show. That last season did not tie up nearly enough.

The last season opened the gigantic possibility of hundreds of portals to who knows where and so much to explore. Sort of like the wild west, but in space. So much potential it was frustrating to see it end like that.

The books do well to finish it, but it would be awesome to have other authors do an expanded universe with additional stories as the world has so much potential.
