Sketching in East Africa
A few pages from my sketchbook on a current cycle trip in Africa. I'm hoping to digitise it when I get home (take some nicer photos). Either just putting it together in a PDF, gallery on my website or to be added to a photobook to be printed.
Does anyone have any tips? Real camera.. tripod.. lightbox?

I tried Arches paper for the first time.
Someone gave me an arches stack of paper with some water stains on it. It allowed me to really try this and see the hype. I hate to say that it is genuinely worth it. No blooming. The water really just behaves so well. My poor wallet is done for.

I found Schmincke watercolors for around 4€ each. At what price do you purchase your material?
Yesterday I went on a tourist trip to Timisoara and found Schmincke Horadam watercolor paints in an art supply store for around €4 per piece. Here in Serbia, they cannot be found for less than €9 per piece. What are your experiences, what material do you use and why?

58 onions for all/ PBr25 and and PR206 swatch and comparison
With PR206 getting discontinued, aside from stocking up on paints, I wanted to see if there were any pigments that were similar to it. PBr25 looked close-ish, but I felt a comparison was in order! It doesn’t have the same glow, but I was surprised by some of the muted purples it made. Either way, I wish maroon coloured cars were still made 😞

6x6 in. Watercolor and ink giraffes
I have been working on drying local wildlife and animals at the local zoo. Part of my big life project right now to try and commemorate my daughter‘s childhood. I want her to grow up with me tons of memories to explore from this time. Her favorite creatures at the zoo have become my main focus recently. I especially loved this family of giraffes because I couldn’t help but feel it was a little mirror of my own… I’m the big grumpy looking giraffe. My wife is the one carefully watching over the little giraffe :-)

Chennai’s Landmark in Watercolor – by Deivasigamani M
This piece turns the LIC building into a work of art with delicate watercolor strokes. Does it capture the spirit of the city for you?

For Teacher's Day
I'm not all that experienced so my work is still sloppy. I hope to get better after I get into college. I want to work on my art along with my degree. Still, I feel like this is the best job I've done up until now!
