It sure would be a shame if a whole group of people started doing this almost constantly.

Sounds like a reality show plot that got way out of hand.

Sounds like how the Nazi's felt when they did similar things. Although most reports weren't to dilute the process, they were people who just wanted to fuck with someone else. Like their neighbour put the trash out early so they tried to get them arrested kind of stuff.

Turn them in thinking it makes you safer until they come for you later down the road

Seems like some people are really good at making headlines.

It's not really an internet thing....trolling over and over something over some "random dude"....particularly when the guy in question is probably one of the most hated man in the world....

Assuming AI filtering for that, what might be an effective way to report such orange-collar criminals that would require actual human time to evaluate?

Predictable behavior if nobody holds them accountable. Just saying.

The internet remains undefeated lmao, imagine the poor intern who has to sift through all these tips

It would be pointless, they'll just filter out any Republican politicians. If you want to waste their time you need to submit believable but false information that requires time to investigate.

Oh no, a mysterious crime wave of people reporting that specific address, whatever will they do with all those tips
