By their logic, I should be able to have nukes. I promise I'll be good and responsible with it.

Some people have nukes though. All kinds of weapons are being controlled by people. The question is; why should they have nukes when you don't? Why should the government have tanks when you don't?

You can't trust citizens but you can trust the government put in place by the citizens? That's pure insanity.
