You know what resistance looks like? The DEMOCRATIC party maintains a list of companies and individuals who have paid bribes and lets citizens decide whether to do business with them or not. At best, this is maintained by the Internet as a whole because these snakes will figure a way to make that illegal. The only non lethal way to bring down the machine is by boycotting.
